Given that I am busy painting Russians, that does seem rather unlikely. I mean, I would need units from the 101st US Airborne, British Paras and Air Landing Regiments, not to mention Shermans from the British Guards Armoured Division. Nope certainly not planning that at all.....

Today I read a book about Operation Bagration on the Eastern Front.

today i did nowt in the way of painting, but I did

1) have a 2 hour meeting with the housing guy, discussing mortgages, size of windows, and the need for a second shower in the house. It should be noted that having a meeting of this length in the living room with a 1 year old in attendance is Not Good.
2) spend about 3 hours totting up students' scores, it being end-of-term-points-totting season. 1 gakunen down, 1 to go *sigh*
3) spend some quality time with wife and son
4) play a wee bit of silent hill
5) fix the wobbly arm of a chair which had been bugging me for, like, months. Had to take the entire fricking thing apart, but I fixed him up gooooood, yessir indeedy. No more wobbling from him, methinks.

I also took some pics of my latest creation. The hat, by the way, is a greenstuffed addition to the regular model. I was actually just trying to make a wee doohicky for base decoration, and needed a head to sculpt it on. I thought it looked rather natty, tho, so I left it on :) I think I shall call her: Lungerina.

Finished a book about Irregular Troops and volunteers during the Anglo-Zulu War on my way to work this morning.

Nice model and paint job. Hat is great. And like the #4 "played a bit of silent hill". Lol.

I'm trying to paint up some generator scenery today. Hope it comes out okay. And doing some finishing touches on a large laser blast piece. And if possible, more painting on the tank core. Now time for lunch.

Had a headache all day. Read a book. Black Wings new tales of Lovecraftian Horror edited by S T Joshi.
Ate Chinese food. Received my first donation to the podcast. 10 dollars! :D
Thought about painting but didn't even approach the bench. :)
Prepared a scenario for this Saturdays game of Dragon Warriors. The King Under the Forest. :geek: ;)
Welcome to the land of Legend.

@ MiJ Nice work dude. Bet she'd reach a pretty penny on ebay. I don't want her number though. Too scary.

Commiserations on the headache. I've had days like that before :(

Yon book sounds interesting. Don't suppose I could borrow it once you're finished with it? (If not, no worries - I appreciate some folks have a no-lending no-borrowing policy on stuff. Dat's cool :) ) Congrats on the first donation. Somebody out there values your thoughts at least to the value of 10 bucks. More than I've ever been paid for my musings, lemme tell ya.

Re: eBay - meh, there's bugger all market for Malifaux. It's all in army painting for 40k, I reckon. Not that I'd know, since I neither buy not sell painted figs on eBay. Just the impression I get from CMoN and suchlike.

Today, out of interest, I did not paint. Today was a choppy choppy hack hack day (no, not silent hill - I was doing some conversion work on a mini.)

Just a bit done today actually. Got all the grey knight arms drilled and put on with pauldrons to boot. Very happy with the look. Just a few touch ups tomorrow and they are good to go. And got a banner to hang as a loincloth for my dreadnought done as well. Put that on tomorrow. And did some work on an assault cannon that is coming along nicely. Then based 12 sm weapons.

Now just finishing reading the new white dwarf e magazine. Is it just me or does the battle report between Adam Troke and Matt Hutson seem like Matt is a bit mental and looks like he will stab Adam to death at any minute. Lol. Either way, seems like the new armies win for some reason in the battle reports  . Wonder why?

Came across this. Not exactly to scale but would be awesome to have hanging above your gaming board.

Oooh, what I wouldn't give for a giant scale model of a spaceship to hang over my games table :(

Today I continued work in the chop shop. I may need to bust out the green stuff in the near future, as gaps have been brought to my attention wot need filling. I also tried to listen to/watch the video for "marry the night" by lady gaga. I've previously admitted to having a bit of a soft spot for her particular brand of somewhat melodramatic pop, but this one was just taking the p. Seriously, 10 fricking minutes of her lolling about in her undies in an oh-so-tragic faux asylum, and still no song. Wherez da pop tunes, lady? It's also really hard to take a video seriously when all it does is put you in mind of "National Express" by The Divine Comedy...

For comparison:

Gaga's presumably multi-gigadollar effort: http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=cggNqDAtJYU

the Divine Comedy's presumably 50p effort: http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=H3NVPOedkEk

I know which one I rate...
