There actually is a Grabber-slasher model. Unfortunately, it's horribly rare; mine cost me thirty quid (!) from Ebay.

Yeah, it's both rare and kinda dumb-lookin', heh.

(I'm thinking, actually - horror of horrors - of maybe picking up a Tyrant Guard or two to proxy Zoats, since they fill a similar role and are actually cheaper, what with eBay prices for long OOP miniatures.)

Today, I finished packing for a ten-day trip to a seaside town in Western Australia. Yay! I hear you cry. But soft! What shite through yonder window breaks? Tis the job, and 74 schoolkids following in tow

Painted some more on the ruins, made another terrain piece but manly poured over the new dark angels codex which I just got. Very nice book indeed. Love the army and the way to customize it. Much more of a "your army" feel to it like the space wolves.

Just a test mini here.

I am thinking of painting the helmets grey, black or white. Also , what colour should the guns be? Black? Bone White?

Any ideas or suggestions everyone?

I'd go for light colors on the helmet and gun, for maximum contrast with the rest of the armor. Light gray helmet, bone white gun would be my vote.

Myself, I got the bases painted on a formation of Iron Warriors. Waiting for the rain to stop so I can spray them black are a Marine tactical squad and some Hormagaunts for ASC, and another Iron Warriors formation with attached dreadnoughts and land raiders.

Might be nice to disconnect for a bit.
Finally got a couple of hours painting. 1st small unit of New Model Army firelocks nearly done.
Very relaxing time spent.

Also son intervenes and discovers the painting corner.
What's all this then? Right paints away, brushes down. It was fun while it lasted.
