What did you do today.

The last two nights I've actually put in some painting time with my M8 and jeeps for my armored recon platoon. I finished base coating the models. Last night I added a glaze to some of the surfaces and tonight I'll add the decals.

@ Prim: I've been playing Rome TW, but after reading your post, I think I've found a way to quadruple my fun.

@ Konrad: As for the Deschutes, there's only two places I know to get it: my refrigerator and Oregon. I've got four bottles left. Three winter ales and one summer ale. That and a bunch of old beers from the Florida Keys.

If you want one of the bottles of winter ale, I'll hook you up, but the summer ale is claimed by me. Sorry.

I'll also be heading back to Oregon in July for my brother's wedding, so I'm determined to bring back tons of beer. I'll see if I can get some Mirror Pond or Black Butte Porter for you if you like.

nooooooooooooo.......... Oh well, it was a beautiful dream. No worries. I would not deny a man even winter ale. I'll just have to make do with Stone Mountain until I get back home.

I unboxed relic and yes make no mistake it is talisman40k. I was thinking of getting some folks together for a game some time. It is a 2-4 player game Kenya is really keen. I was hoping to play it with her and Robi but Robi is just a little too young. Looks like we will have to stick to space hulk for now.

Tonight I cooked Gumbo for my wife and I!

I also did some work on the same recon platoon.

Finally, I also subdued some final portions of the Iberian peninsula.

@ Konrad: I'm giving you the ale because at the rate I drink it may last till kingdom come. I'm much too much of a light weight to digest it all by myself. I'd appreciate it if you took a bottle.

Today I played Warhammer 40k for the first time since May 2011. Thanks Dave I had a great day. It was great to try 6th ed and finally get to use that huge rule book I bought last year. I'm very interested in further games of 40k or Warhammer and Black Powder. I can't make NH this year but if anyone would like a game of any of those systems let me know I can travel or book Tsu center palace for the day. I'm a once a month gamer these days so maybe even the next Joshin or beginners club could work.
I hope your army kicks ass Dave like it did today. Great game. Next time Ill remember to pack the actual models I spent all that time painting.

Today I glued some trees to some bases and washed a couple of bits and pieces. I had planned to do more, but a chronic bout of laziness overcame my will to do very much.
