What did you do today.
Re: What did you do today.
Spent also an hour or so painting my artillery and listening to the great victory of the Emperor at Austerlitz with the voice of the great Brian Blessed narrating.

Today I started filling in the paperwork for my permanent residence application. It doesn't say whether it needs to be filled in in Japanese or English. Do I use the Japanese dating system for the years? Should I write my name in English and use furigana? Gah!!! Couldn't they at least include some guidelines with the dang form. An example of how to fill it in! Something.
Anyhow, I'm off to bed, I will look at it again tomorrow.

Ah, good to knowAndrewGPaul wrote: No, you're still there. We only boot lurkers if they're tools.Probably Facebook's preferences algorithms bumping the G3 group down the priority list because you don't post on it much.
Today, I tidied my hobby room (a bit. Still in sore need of a vacuuming) and laid out all my trollbloods on the table. I'd better start painting - I have more'n I thought...but then, I should really finish my cryx before I start on the trolls...but then, I really ought to wrap up the nurglies - they're closest to finished...but then, my Eldar corsair project...

Re: What did you do today.
Isn't that the lament of every hobbyist? Eyes too big for your time. Guess everyone has their hands full.
Yesterday did some painting on my biker squad. Coming along nicely. Then redid the base on the hall of heroes and much happier with the out come. So happy I'll probably be doing it to all my terrain buildings at some point. Painted up 6 bridge sections and made some ramps for two already made bridges.
Today I will try to do some more paintin on my bikers at work and perhaps base my chaos minis from dark vengeance. Picking up a defiler and chaos predator this Friday. Maybe even do some work on a building spire and church. Lol. Yeah right.
Also, does anyone know who was selling those tau battlesuits at Nagoya hammer? Did they sell or are they still for sale? Thx

@PV - If you mean the forgeworld battlesuits, I believe Underdweller bought them both.

Many of the forms on the Ministry of Japan (Immigration) website have filled-in versions you can download to see how it's done. Personally, I plan to have one of those immigration lawyers help me when it comes to filling out and submitting my own forms.Primarch wrote:Today I started filling in the paperwork for my permanent residence application. Re: What did you do today.
Well, unless I am doing something terribly wrong there are only 2 forms (3 pages) to complete with the initial application. Most of it seems straightforward, it's just the style for writing the info that is causing me problems at the moment. I'm not sure if it is worth actually paying money to a lawyer to check it. I'm planning to head to the immigration office on Friday to have them check over the forms and if necessary I'll rewrite them there. How much do lawyers charge for this kind of service anyway?Tenorikuma wrote:Many of the forms on the Ministry of Japan (Immigration) website have filled-in versions you can download to see how it's done. Re: What did you do today.
I'm at work now, but I maaaaaaay have copies of my own (successful) application at home. If I do, I'll mail em to ya, Prim. Certainly, there was no lawyer involved - just ticking stuff off on a checklist and filling out a few forms.
Also, with regards to them checking the forms - they may give it a cursory glance when you hand it in, but it's not their department to actually check it, and they will deny all responsibility. Accuracy and correctness is entirely on the shoulders of the applicant.

If memory serves the staff on the 1st floor reception are very good at having a quick look and telling you if you have filled it out incorrectly. One lady speaks English.
Forget about yesterday, don't worry about tomorrow because all that matters is today.
