Just wondering: will the izakaya shenanigans be in Ogaki or near Gifu Station? I know there's a bunch of good buffets and mexican joints there too! I need to be home Saturday night because Sunday I'll be packing the last of my things.

I am the last person to know what kind of izakaya is or where a good one would be. My best guess is that there are several around Ogaki station I was actually thinking of a good Korean restaurant that has a party room but if you know of. Better one in Gifu that works for me as well.

If it's in Ogaki it is better, the train ticket from Ogaki-Nagoya is cheaper than Ogaki-Gifu, then Gifu-Nagoya.

Any chance of some info on what a "Apokoliptikplanetstrikufdeff" army should contain? :D If you are planning to have a painting contest it would be nice to know what we should be painting.

Oh, I realized suddenly that my last Apocalypse game was years ago and that I've gotten rusty on some of the rules. As for Force Organization, there pretty much isn't one, right? I recall you can put down kind of what you like. I say this not to create something wonky or broken, but because currently my "Deathwing" force is 1300 points with a Dark Talon on back order since March. (Please Ikeda-san...) Fortunately I have two additional character models I could whip up to start fattening the points and I might buy a few odd models from Ikeda (or rather Prim's old Templar).

So, it is legal to have 4 HQ choices, correct?

What can we take?

The rules are simple.

I am the game master so things that are a bit beardy my suffer from random craziness and fun fluffy themed armies may benefit form random craziness.

Golden rules
If it is cool it is cool the more things fit in the canon fluff of the 40k universe the better.

Uniques are uniques... So no doubling up on GazgulThrakas.... And no two Calgars no twin eldrads.

You my not take any assets. They will be randomly generated. You may take formations that come with an asset if you get to choose then the asset is random, if you do not get to choose you get the asset that the formation comes with. All models should be easy to recognise if they are not then they need to have a data sheet next to them...

You may take anything from the Apoc rules and any upgrade in cities of death if you own cities of death. You may take any IA stuff if you have the actual book... I hope this gives you a good rule of thumb.

So super heavies are cool then? Righty-oh time to dust off some of my big toys. :D

Just out of interest, how many other people are bringing apocalypse grade ordnance? I don't want to rock up with a Baneblade in tow just to find that everyone else brought grots.
