Hi spevna. The sprue looks decent. Any chance of a pic of what it will look like completed or where to get them?

Also, how much is a butt-load? Now I know a shit-load because I was constipated until this morning. But are we talking two ton Bessie? Or big Bertha? The chart must look like this shit-load. Butt-load. Ton of.
A butt-load is the equivalent of a B.B.B.B.B (Big Brown Bum Burning Bomb).

Here are the pics. I added an MDF base and some debris myself as I had an open class today.

I got them on eBay from a seller named mrs-velard. They are based in Russia but my order came pretty quickly. There are a couple of different terrain items. There is a more necromunda looking one (piping and techy stuff on it) but that costs a bit more, a whopping $4!!!!

They also have a load of Robogear stuff. It is great for those that like converting and kitbashing.

I should also add that it seems to me like they are not above a bit of resin plagiarism if you catch my drift ;)

@spevna. Lol. I bought the robogear flyer to convert into a 40k flyer. Thanks. I'll check out the terrain. It looks good.

I used the same guy as an avenger, too.

Why yellow with blue helms, btw? Are you thinking Iyanden, or is it all just a coincidence? (Yellow armour blue helms being the Iyanden scheme, btw)

Today I painted the washed infantry. I gave them second layers (highlights?) of a slightly lighter blue and then worked on adding a second coat of yellow.

I also assembled and primed a single cuirrasier model.

@ JR and Spevna: Good work. I really love the Buddha model on the Rhino. Although I'm not sure what the Inquisition will make of it.

@MiJ

The idea is that the whole army will be yellow but with pads and helmets picked out in different colors (blue for the DA in this case).

Today I actually (dundunduuuuuuuuhh) painted!

*people scream, run for cover, dogs howl wildly, etc*

No, really, I did. I put down a base coat on my support weapons. That's right folks - from here on in I'm packing D. I also kinda sorta highlighted the floaty bits, but the Mr. hobby clear blue is some damn strange paint and was misbehaving badly. I think from here on in Mr. Hobby clear and I will be parting ways. I got it as an experiment, and things just didn't work out. Back to the ever-reliable Tamiya clear for me, I reckon. So, maybe tomorrow I will manage some shadows and other highlights. Maybe, anyway - I'm at work all day for Eiken, and then an work gathering at night. Do these people not realise its a Saturday tomorrow, no?

Yeesh...

On the plus side, I got an email today saying my Eldar codex had shipped. Huzzah!
