If you're tempted by the models, but one or two and call em army commanders for your 40k armies. Likewise contemptors, etc.
Yeah, you know that and I know that, but the part of my brain that loves to think up expensive, time consuming projects doesn't know that. :D

Besides I think I have enough on at the minute. Reaper put out an update saying that the next wave of goodies are being sent out, so hopefully we may see something soon.

Wow! Yes I remember those. They were Pulp minis from Bob Murch. I still have a load of them to do. Nice models. Great painting mate, that looks like a lot of fun. One thing I like about VBCW is you can use so many minis. I would never have thought of using those Pulp ones.
Forget about yesterday, don't worry about tomorrow because all that matters is today.

They will be part of my Royalist force. The basic idea is an older Harry Flashman type who returns with his band of ne'er do wells to help defend the King. He is going to have some Tibetan cavalrymen, a few white Russians, a squad of Mosley's BUF in support, and a load of farm hands he has cajoled into helping out.

The past two days I finished painting the bases of the Vistula Legion and today I added flock to them, another regiment and two batteries. All things said and done, they are looking battle ready. :) I also worked on the lone cuirassier and he too should be ready for the battle Saturday.

Today my codex arrived (yay!) and was pretty much exactly te same as the digi copy I saw a couple weeks back. Still, it means all the stuff I've been doing since way back still largely works, and also my plans for a contingent of exodites allies is still a-ok.

Other than that, I painted the panel lines on my support weapons.

Last few days, i have been painting my jetbikes, the meditating buddhist Librarian, and the space marines from the previous boxed starter set (they were gathering dust in my cabinet).

The order from Ring tail came some spiffy stuff, the Teutonic knights look great but are larger than terminators , the maxmini stuff also very nice

Painted ten marines from the blacks each box set into my chaos chapter. Then painted on some base colors onto my daemon prince or Bloodthirster. Looks good so far. Then put together two rhino bodies together.
The one, the only.

Putting foot to butt all over the universe.

Painted the base coats on the gemstones on my artillery.

A quick opinion poll:

I make and cast up bases for all my 40k armies. My nurglies are all on swampy wormy bases, my craftworlders are all on desert themed bases, and my dark Eldar are all on ruins-of-Eldar-civilisation bases.

What should my corsairs be standing on? I don't wanna do space ship, cos that'll look daft on most tables. Any ideas? I'm at a bit of a loss, tbh...

Ps - I've done forest bases for my cryx and snowy rocks for my trolls, so I'd rather do something different to those for the corsairs.

Nothing so spectacular today, I managed to get a wash onto the mounts for my unit of British Hussars and blocked in the colours on a couple of Celts. The Hussars seem to be taking ages to do, I still have a couple more hours work to do on the mounts before I even start work on the riders. It would probably help if I wasn't trying to watch TV at the same time as I paint mind. :)
