Yesterday I finished doing most of the metal work on a bunch of Celts and painted all the belts and scabards. Tonight I hope to get some woad and warpaint on them. I also read a book on Samurai and Ashigaru armour and equipment during my lunchbreak/commute yesterday. Today I have a book on the Sekigahara campaign to fill up my non-working work time.

I wanted to get a few factions painted up and then run a game. The plan at the moment is ;

Eldar Pirates

Squat security guards

Anarchists

Rioting factory workers/hive dwellers

Ork freebooters

Inquisitor and retinue/storm troopers

Space Marines (not as a playable group )

Chaos renegades (to oppose the Space Marines)

Ratling separatists

Made some headway with my anarchists. Got these seven done in under 3 hours!!

@Spev I have some of those "anarchists" myself in the odds n' bobs box. Cryomek weren't they?
And I'm getting the final touches on some Necro-terrain. Glue down some pipes and rust texture and we'll be ready to paint.
After that, I'm thinking of touching up some of my Squatorks and bikes to make them more Gorkamorka friendly. Magnetize the bases and whatnot.

Yep, old Kryomek stuff. They are pretty cheap so I picked up about 16 of them.

I may well get on the Gorka Morka wagon. I have trukks and a battlewagon already. I have 9 buggies sitting on the shelf, and about 9 boarboyz too
