This weekend I made good progress on my 500pt Dad's Army force for Bolt Action, made from the Foundry Home Guard models and supplemented with plastics from Warlord. Also worked on some terrain for a Operation Sealion idea I have using the the same, stuff like sandbags, a red telephone box etc. Am going to make some tiny wartime posters to slap on the sides of some buildings too. Really enjoying painting these chaps.
Also saw the Dredd movie, finally. I thought it was a belter and a big improvement on the woeful Stallone version (let's face it anything would have been, but this surpassed my expectations). I also decided that it would be incredibly silly to buy any miniatures for a game based in said Dredd universe when Warlord begin distributing the Mongoose stuff, and decided almost, almost certainly, not to do that.
