Today I resolved to post on this thread a bit more often, hopefully it will help with the old hobby mojo which all too often is getting buried by work, and the tiredness resulting from it these days.
This weekend I made good progress on my 500pt Dad's Army force for Bolt Action, made from the Foundry Home Guard models and supplemented with plastics from Warlord. Also worked on some terrain for a Operation Sealion idea I have using the the same, stuff like sandbags, a red telephone box etc. Am going to make some tiny wartime posters to slap on the sides of some buildings too. Really enjoying painting these chaps.
Also saw the Dredd movie, finally. I thought it was a belter and a big improvement on the woeful Stallone version (let's face it anything would have been, but this surpassed my expectations). I also decided that it would be incredibly silly to buy any miniatures for a game based in said Dredd universe when Warlord begin distributing the Mongoose stuff, and decided almost, almost certainly, not to do that.

Good find, that Mr Spevna..I checked out some pics. I'll keep them in mind myself. As you say, not beautiful but not exactly terrible.

I finished painting up an Emerald Isle Judge and two Hondo City Judges - then the matt varnish spray went all cloudy. Not a happy bunny.

I had that happen to me once. Not the whole mini though. Call them....uh..."Ghost Judges"!

I have not painted anything for a couple weeks now. But I got everything packed and this afternoon's 部活 starts right after lunch. I will be in the art room painting rust on my latest batch of Necro/Gorka terrain.

Damn you, Konrad! *shakes fist northwards*

I, too, have no classes this afternoon, but I get to spend it catching up on all the paperwork I've been forced to put off for the past few weeks. In fact, I foresee a lot of paperwork in my immediate future. I have no classes for a fortnight (school has largely finished) and yet I will be at work every day, and busy, to boot. :(
current (2019) hobby interests
eh, y'know. Stuff, and things

Wow. And then Corona happened. Just....crickets, all the way through to 2023...

Yeah, no paperwork for me! Of course we dispatch ALTS, in addition to being unencumbered with paperwork, are also unencumbered with job security, bonuses, or employer insurance contributions. Yeah! I'll be shaking my fist southwards at you and your game room once that 1 to 1 scale house terrain you are having built is finished.

Got a bunch of tau bunkers primed plus did some more touch ups on my terminators. Then did some small painting to finish off my devastator squad. And then to really make me smile, I got my commander shadowsun in the mail after work and what is that in the package with her, a bonus from the Chinese seller. No, say it ain't so, a free Sammael on jetbike. And I was just griping this past weekend about not liking this exact model. Guess I'll have to grow to like him.

Made a Flickr account and put a few pics of my pulp minis online. They were photographed on my last UK visit with terrain I don't have here at present, but hope to collect soon. They aren't incredible paint jobs, but decent for me. Hope some Strange Aeons fans may get a kick out of them!
