Every autumn I think, "I'm going to cobble together an Undead Blood Bowl team for Halloween." I think I may just do it this year. If only to play a game with those bleachers. Hilarious!

Today Konrad travelled to Lovejoy Towers for a couple of games of Strange Aeons, my first games of anything pretty much, for months. We played 2 games, alternating between playing as Threshold and Lurkers (good guys and bad guys). Much fun was had.. In the first game a few artifacts were ransacked from a dig site by my plucky investigative trio, although they were almost murdered by Konrad's inbred family of farming cultists in the process. A close run thing with my shotgun toting toff Lord Percy finally bagging the last of the riff raff and restoring balance between the social classes with buckshot, which is as it should be.
In the second, Konrad's meddling agents attempted to escape from the lair of my blasphemous cultists. My (rather naff) minions died in droves, but at least Konrad's cavewoman "Jungle Girl" was dynamited by corpulent cult leader Oliver Moons (henceforth christened "Fatty", as in "Die, Fatty"). Sadly, the brave Dr. Moons then took both barrels of a shotgun in his capacious gut, courtesy of Konrad's Brigadier. Somehow I have a feeling that Moons be back, however...
So, a good day for gaming! I may edit in a few pics later if they are small enough.

Over the past few days I have been painting, or rather re-painting a tactical squad for my Ravenguard. No particular reason for it, I just felt like doing something different and it has been a while since I did some marines.

You have a way with words sir! I will have to polish up my delivery, as "Die, Fatty!" is not quite what the very modern model of a modern Brigadier General (retired) would be shouting at the Enemies of the Crown. And Jungle Girl will be back. She just knocked her head on the ceiling. As I imagine we have not seen the last of ....muhahahaha Oliver Moon!

As is usual before an event, it is overdrive time. Been putting together extra aegis lines for terrain and getting my lists made into cards for easy viewing. And after spending this week trying to get all my tanks painted for a huge tank column, I went a different way and it wasn't necessary. Now have to make a trip to the hard ware store today. Gotta run.

Side note: do not leave things outside to dry overnight, it might rain. Especially bases with grass mat on them! Argh! Expletive expletive expletive etc......

Haven't had much time or the right weather for airbrushing

hopefully tomorrow or Friday night. So, alas I haven't finished my take on the Hemlock Wriathfighter. But this is the progress so far. The weapons will be on the underside. Instead I turned the weapons bay into giant speakers to represent them amplifying the warlocks terrifying psykic powers

Also watched this vid about 40k Apocalypse and now have a better understanding of what it is all about. I have to enjoying watching things get blown to smithereens, disintegrated or vaporized, both my own and the other sides!
