I also spent some time fiddling with a Dropzone Commander army builder. No reason!

Re: What did you do today.
I seem to be having some trouble getting back into my painting groove, so today I did some lovely fiddling about with foamcore and a printer and put together a couple more 6mm buildings. (My goal is to be self-sufficient in both mats and terrain by whenever-I-have-the-next-Epic-event.) Also went to Tokyu Hands and bought a couple B3 sheets of thick card for building bases / roads / general scatter terrain building.

Fairly happy today. Got a big shipment in the mail and my tau and eldar are almost ready to go. Did some painting on my dire avengers and a squad of fire warriors. And then went through my shipment to make sure it was all there. And argh, I was sent some striking Scorpians in place of fire dragons. Hoping they will let me keep them and ship me the fire dragons to apologize for the mistake. Fingers crossed.
Btw, I'm free all weekend and if anyone would like to come to chez Khaine for a game, pm me. Otherwise, I will have lots of time to paint my Teldar to field against you! Games include lunch!

Discovered that my bottle of Averland Sunset had gone dry.
Did some more tinkering with buildings to console myself.

Ahem, well, that is very cool. I'll also have to take a look at the Dropzone army builders. I heard something about free armybuilder downloads.
Today I spent some time priming a few models, building one model and then worked on painting some Vistula lancers and worked on the 12 pounder cannon too.

Base coated my bulldozer yellow. It's still in about 6 pieces, that I'll have to paint more or less separately before I put it all together.

Re: What did you do today.
Yesterday evening and this afternoon I painted up some of my new Reaper: Bones minis.

The plastic is a bit soft, especially for swords and things. You can't see it in the pictures, but the handle of the armoured guy's axe curves at about 45 degrees behind his body. This also makes it a bit tricky to smooth down the mold lines as it doesn't always file smoothly.
None of these models was primed, as one of the selling points of the Bones range was that you don't need primer. However, at times the paint would pool up, so I guess the models should probably be scrubbed in the sink before painting.
Anyhoo, for 50c a model, I think they look pretty good.

Today I did a little work on some Hussars in an effort to catch up in the Black Powder arms race that Job has started with his Vistula Legion and Lancers. The mounts were nearly completed a while back, but the riders still need a lot of work. I figure I will get this unit finished before starting anything else, like tackling the huge pile of Zulus waiting in my games room.

Did some more painting on my Jetbike, painted the pilot for the Dust tactics mecha helicopter carrier, and some tidbits on other figures, hope to complete the jetbike in the weekend and then post some pictures of it.
