What did you do today.

Today I got up late at a reasonable time and thought about painting a mini. Had some coffee and a fry up, listened to some music and thought about spending the day on the hobby. Checked Nagoyahammer forums, saw some interesting posts and projects going on. Thought I'd do an update for those of you who were wondering. (Groans from the forum).
It's 11am here in the UK so you guys have had your day already. Hope it went well.
Found some good bands while I was back that you might like. Savages, Palma Violets and Haim. All fairly rocky but upbeat. If you like Joy Division you'll love Savages. http://itsasadsadplanet.blogspot.co.uk/ ... -2013.html
Played a fair bit of Eve online in recent weeks. It's good if you like space games. Fans on Frontier Elite 2 on the Amiga would enjoy it. Not sure if I'll subscribe though. There is a 14 day free trial and it's not all about blasting people, unless you want it to be.

Been reading a lot of sci-fi in recent months and catching up on a lot of old and current Dr Who. Patrick Troughton is my favourite Dr with Matt Smith a close second. It may change again.

This week, I have been painting old 2nd edition Cadians and Catachans, while listening to Absolute Radio 90s. If this carries on any further, I'll have to come round to Dave's to get beaten at 40k, like in the old days.

Today I sorted out minis for a 1500 point Salamanders army and converted some bits up for my Mantis Warriors.

And then I lost all interest in 40K and tidied it all away. (Armys in separate boxes mind) Instead I spent my evening gluing together a German Kettenkraftrad and a trailer for it whilst watching Wrath of Khan.

Yes mate. I've got another two too. I'm going to paint them in totally different schemes. I like the idea of them being Orky lone wolves of the air!
