Re: What did you do today.
Had a great weekend hanging out and gaming with Rob in Yokkaichi. Good food, good gaming and good times.
Rob brought my chaos army to the table against my last ork opponent with said chaos army. Rob crushed him in true chaos fashion; blood and gore. When will they learn? Rob seemed pleased with my chaos army list and really found out why I take a fortress of redemption. Rob not only knocked his opponent off the table, but knocked him out as the guy was quietly napping off his defeat for the rest of the day. Lol
I was finally able to unleash my Teldar. I thought, let's go cheese, why not. Three riptides and a wraithknight with lots of hard core hq's and tanks. What I thought would be me taking the guy turned into quite the battle which was good. I got to learn my new armies ( note to self, remember marker light drones and battle focus ). Anyway, grav-guns, hate em. If you got em, use em. If against them, dodge them. I had to do the latter. Luckily once my with knight fell to combined grav gun fire, the rest of my army doomed them, then vaporized his 600 point cheese biker unit. Cheese on cheese, who forgot the wine. I'm glad he brought this monster power unit otherwise he would have indeed been tabled. It was a great game but I still lost very few models and left him with one unit and a stormtalon left. It really could have gone either way I suppose but my battle plan worked exactly how I wanted it to work with precise results. VP 8-2. Tau are brutal. Eldar are great. Together they are lethal. Here are some pics of the army and battle. Made up the eldar skyshield the night before.

Re: What did you do today.
Got my lil' bulldozer pretty much done. It's pretty tiny though, about the size of an old Warbuggy. I think I may rig up a trailer so it can haul a few boyz around.
The driver and the gunner are still in the early stages of Squatification. I could have gotten some work done on them this morning, but I ended up playing "Final Liberation" instead. Video games! What a waste of time!

Just a few RPG characters that are WIP or nearly done -
Here we have the savage and self-imposed tribe leader and shaman TIKTAKTOE

Next is the cunning yet beautiful half-elf sorceress KOCHA (Don't blame me for the name, it's my wife's character
) Sorry for the poor pic, camera was not behaving.

And finally, fighting for peace and order with sun and sword is Sharae, Cleric of Sarenrae, who needs no clothes to do her kind of fighting!

Re: What did you do today.
Nice models Koji. Reaper I assume? The reptile wasn't part of the kickstarter though, so I'm guessing it's metal?
Today I spent a little time applying some base coats to some Mantis Warriors for 40K and a Hanomag and an 8-Rad Armoured Car for my Bolt Action Germans. After dinner I started work on assembling some KGL Hussars for my British Napoleonic force. And to top it all off I watched Star Trek IV as well. What a good day.

Re: What did you do today.
Today was poorly spent but I managed a little forward progress. I switched to assembling, priming and painting the first 5 of my hussars.

Re: What did you do today.
This afternoon I gave my German armoured car and hanomag a second coat of dunkelgelb and put the base coat down on a few more Mantis Warriors. After that I dug out and painted a Chaos Warrior and a Skeleton from the original Heroquest. Curse you Spevna, you kicked me right in the nostalgia with your Heroquest post.

Re: What did you do today.
Today I suddenly figured out what edge highlighting is, and then tried doing some on my battlesuit. It felt like an accomplishment.
Re: What did you do today.
Tonight I put a bit more paint down on the hussars.

Decided to add a little more "weird" to my World War 2 stuff.
Pretty happy with how the weathering turned out.
