That's amazing MiJ, it reminds me of that baddie in toy story 1, although obviously more 40k fuelled. Looks tricky to put together.
I faced one of those once with my codex marines it wasn't pleasant. Kept getting moved from cover by its chaotic powers and then blasted.

I also was able to sneak a game in this past week of 40k with a sort of bolt action turn sequence. One side would randomly move and shoot or assault with one unit and then the other player. It was so, so, SO much better than normal.

Tried something similar with Killteam. We had 5 players and had randomised full turns. Was great fun.

GW just updated Kill Team for 6th ed. There is a pdf for a Killteam event somewhere. Very surprising. You'd think they'd have published it as a 50$ e-book download.
And it looks like Galaxy in Flames put out the beta for their Kill Zone 6th ed rules. There was some talk about it switching to unit by unit activation system. Got me some lunchtime reading.

This morning I got up on time, ate breakfast and got ready for work and found that I had 10 minutes free. I managed to glue some bits and pieces together on one of my side projects. The day is off to a reasonable start!

Got some washes on a couple of Squatorks and fiddled around with a Reaper duelist/assassin/ranger/guy with a sword and dagger and cloak. Pretty impressed with the detail. It's not as sharp as metal overall, but this figure has lots and lots of tiny, tiny, tiny studs in his armor. They are sharp and tiny enough that I will have to go back again and try to get the ones I missed or got covered up with the wash. So unless you are a Crystal brush contender, not much to complain about as far as detail is concerned.

This evening I started reading a 33year old book about making dioramas by a chap called Sheperd Paine. It had popped up from time to time in various online chats as being "the" book about dioramas.

It absolutely is.
