Yesterday gorged on fish and sashimi at a fish market and followed it with some of the best ever ramen, if not the best. (The fat from the bone floated on top at measurable depth.) Now I proceed to massacre shellfish in Oharu like the walrus from CS Lewis' Through the Looking glass. Tonight it is beer and sheep on the menu.

Commander's almost done, though, and he looks pretty cool.
GW decals suck. You using decal setting solution? Helps a great deal.

Yeah, and it does. Still takes a couple applications and a bit of careful smushing down of sitcky-outy bits.
Feel free to call me Dave!

We quaffed much hoppy goodness, and suckled at the teat if Bacchus!!

Even 7 pissed off Blood Angles could not withstand the dakka of 30 boyz!!

Uncharted Seas ended with me having to concede though. My greenies got outgunned and out manoeuvred by their human betters.

I was knackered today, so did no painting. I did manage a pleasant hour so in the evening accompanied by Scottish oatcakes, Japanese beer (heartland) Polish pickles, American cheese (pepperjack) and Ms Lara Croft, whose latest outing is rather growing on me, I must confess. I was particularly amused by the incident wherein her cranky old Scottish mentor is being held in a hostage situation. In response to having a machete drawn across his throat and losing a little blood, he shouts "izzat the best ye kin dae? Ah wiz brought up in Glesga!" and proceeds to headbutt the cheeky bugger that had the audacity to threaten him with something as teeny as a machete, thus allowing Lara to make a daring escape. Proper adventuresome, so it is :)

I just finished Uncharted 2 (very Tomb Raiderish) so may well get on Tomb Raider next. Anyone who likes TombRaider MUST try the Uncharted games. They really are exceptional.

I woke up this morning to find that I had spent 230 dollars last night.

I ordered the core set and a few add ons, lots more RPG goodies for me. Now, I just need to start playing some RPGs. Oh and paint about 200 minis. :D
I'm looking forward to Bones III, which will probably happen around 2015.
