@ Auxryn: well done. You seem to be pumping out models recently. Keep it up.
Last night I stayed up listened and watched a Sharpe episode while painting my FoW French. Today I am off to Nagano with my wife's family so it precludes any hobby work.

Re: What did you do today.
I bought a pot of Nihilak Oxide today, so now I need to paint a lot of things bronze.
Re: What did you do today.
From yesterday I finally was able to start my holiday. Xmas was a bit truncated because of the need to work over it, but I still managed to enjoy a bit of cake and sherry and youtube a few seasonal TV classics. My wife is now on maternity leave, so now she is instigating mad pre-childbirth cleaning sprees, necessary I suppose but clearly I would rather be lazing around drinking tea and eating choco-pie. We'll be heading to her hometown on the 30th for New Year family stuff, where she will stay mostly for the next 3 months. When I return to be home alone I'll have time to devote to hobby nonsense.
I've been continuing my Skyrim travels, and have now added big cheese of Dark Brotherhood to other top dog positions in Mages College, Companions and Thieves Guild. I enjoy swanning about in a suit of nordic armour that makes me look like a metal bear. Over 100 hours in and probably 100 more to go to finish the main quest, civil war, Dragonborn and Dawnguard add ons.

Yesterday, on a whim, I bought DmC (devil may cry) off steam. Maaaan o man I shouldna done that. It's like...all the other devil may crys, only turned up to 11. In fact, given the eye-wateringly OTT nature of the previous ones, I spose I'd have to say turned up to 12. But fun. Oooooooh so much fun. It also, for the first time, has a decent script, voice acting and is bloody stylishly directed. It also uses a lot of sweary words, which is a departure from the rather cartoony nature of the previous games. In fact, it's quite dark in comparison. Almost silent hill-like in many places. Different development team, I believe.
Anyway, the painting mood is very much not with me at the mo. Paintypaintyblendblend is out, shootyshootychopchop is in. For now, at least

Re: What did you do today.
Let's see here, yesterday I had a talk with a friend over the breakup with her fiance (for those of you who were there a few years ago at Badrucks event, that's the same girl) due to family issues. Then off to my bosses place to have a talk about my job. He gets some of it, but there are things he just can't really see (needs to learn to walk in others shoes me thinks). Ended up also going to a end of the year event which saw me being the driver/comedian for some of the drunk people.
Recently also got a game called State of Decay. Sandbox zombie survival game. Pretty fun with a sharp learning curve. I like how you have to worry about building up and using a group of survivors and the actions you take can have some serious consiquences. My choice of homes wasn't the best, keep getting zombie hordes walking up to the front yard. Thankfully I stocked up on the good stuff weapons wise including a broadsword for up close and personal.
Haven't painted anything lately, but been thinking on my Menoth colors. I've got the concept pretty well down, it's going to be in execution that will be interesting. My goal tonight is to work on a jack to show my idea off here in a few days. For FoW, can't say I've done anything either as I'm not sure what I'm suppose to be working on right now.

played more DmC. This game is the shizznit, it really is. I'd describe it, but I'd need to make up words to describe its awesomeness adequately. It's that awesome.

Got back on the wagon and put down the gunmetal on my trolls and last 3 fanatics. Could be done with them tonight if I put my mind to it.

Re: What did you do today.
et voila! (Rule number one: Don't let them start arguments on internet message boards after midnight!)

These guys have been a bit of a monkey on my back for a while now, so it's nice to have them done - and speaking of finished projects, it's probably the last thing I need to paint for my gobbelin army.
