Crow: City of Angels, Scream 3 and Mutant Chronicles share that spot for me. The Matrix sequels are nearly as bad. All five are vastly worse than either Hobbit film, IMO. :)

Tonight I studied with the wife at Mr. Doughnuts and now I'm going to try to make some headway on models stuff before bedtime.

Edit: Built and based a Sig 18 7.5cm light infantry gun and team.

Tonight I had a glorious 2 hours in a row of painting. Still didn't really get a lot done, but I did have a nice cup of cocoa and some baskin robbins (um, minty marshmallow? Is that even a real flavour?) I'm also fairly convinced that the Tron soundrack (score) is the bestest movie score ever, including Blade Runner.

Aaaanyway, I painted more corsairs. I did the windows (which a smarter man wouldve done whilst doing the hull, but hey, I'm indecisive) and the falcon turret. See corsair thread for pics. I wish I had realised sooner* that just painting over the windows saves you about 1 full mini worth of painting per tank...

Attached a bunch of little plastic trees to washers. Once the epoxy sets I'll add texture to the base and spray them up. I still have to find some clumpy flock for foliage that isn't insane vivid green like the stuff I have now is.
Feel free to call me Dave!

I finished painting my GI's today. Now I need to do the bases. I also did some work on painting up a few more Raven Guard and finished building my Puma.

The baby has been back a week. He's settling in well and learning to sleep a little better everyday, my wife is doing a great job. So, time has been taken up with the nipper and I haven't been able to indulge the hobby much beyond plans and ideas, and a little mini prepping for Dredd..not that i'm complaining :D

One of said plans was, to paint a few IG minis. I was wondering which kind of imperial guard schemes seem to work on most tables, since I have some minis in that line. I would imagine something urban in blue and grey would be the most utilitarian in terms of looking decent with most terrain themes, and I like these colours but perhaps it's a bit bland. Does any one have any thoughts about a good looking scheme which looks decent with a variety of terrain?

I have another more specific scheme in mind, pictured below. The idea was that these troops are based on a Mars-like world, so, browns and the odd red, slightly alien, red brown sand basing. The only problem with a scheme like that is that while its more flavourful and all that, it would probably not work with anything but desert terrain and look out of place with anything else - like the green battlemat which many games are fought on! Just thinking aloud, but if any Naghammerers have their own pet guard schemes I'd be interested in your opinions.

I do mine a Dark Grey/Dark Blue colour.

But that's mainly so that they will fit in with the rest of my Tyrant's Legion. :D
