What did you do today.
Re: What did you do today.
Quite a productive day today, I built a German Motorcycle, a Damocles Rhino, some Tarantula Weapons Platforms and cleaned my hobby room a little.

Accomplished a tiny bit of work after work. Washed the flamethrower team and added some Middlestone to areas. I also cleaned up a tiny bit too.

Finished, decaled and varnished my Imperial Knight. Now I'm just awaiting the bits for the dead Night Lord on the base and it'll be done.
Re: What did you do today.
Took an inventory of the Fallschirmjager stuff I have for Bolt Action, and made a couple of 750pt lists. The hope is to get them ready for Nagoyahammer. You don't get much for 750 points of veteran troops, but that means less to paint.

Built and primed two new shacks for my shanty town table. Going to try and get some more paint on them tonight.

Re: What did you do today.
Today I painted a smidgeon of a couple of corsairs, and booked a hotel for Naghammer. I am surprisingly rather jetlagged after my return from the Land of New Zeal the other day. It's far worse than it was for Oz. Probly something to do with the always-daytime nature of teh flight or something. I dunno. Anyhoo, I feel rather crappy. No apetite, nauseous, keep waking up at funny times of the night. Bit vexing, really, but I daresay I'll get over it. On the plus side, NZ was a very nice country full of nice people and a very respectable variety of places to eat good food. To summarise, I ate:
2 kebabs
2 burritos
some excellent mussels (2 types - grilled with cheese, and steamed with white wine and garlic, respectively)
some equally excellent teppanyaki (I wasn't pleased to see there was a visit scheduled to a J-restaurant. Kinda defeated the purpose of the trip, I thought. Then I saw the food, the rather funky knife juggling, and then ate the steak. No complaints from me. No sir. Let's go again next year...
)
some fish and chips (fething expensive, but then it was a harbourfront restaurant)
and various other sundries. Did you know they have a lamb burger in BK in NZ? 's alright, actually.
Also, for the first time in my life I had a fairly large man clad only in a kinda grass skirt loincloth kinda thing (and many tattoos) wave a spear at me threateningly whilst shouting in my face about how he was going to eat me. A new experience, to be sure...
Quite a fun trip, all things considered

Re: What did you do today.
Today I started painting some Celts for the heck of it, (I have a lot of them to do, so a batch here and a batch there will help me get through them). I also got an undercoat down on some Samurai.

Re: What did you do today.
I put together a whole mess of acrylic buildings in 6mm - next step is to experiment a bit with getting some texture on the walls before I start painting and basing them up.
Tomorrow I venture to the new community center and see about getting a room in June. Knock on wood!
