Yep, basing stuff is always a drag, but the finished results look great.

Today I completed Run2 of the Couch to 5K app. It's great fun and easy to do. :)
Forget about yesterday, don't worry about tomorrow because all that matters is today.

Oh, I know it, which is why I put a bit of work into it to make it look better. All the same, it's a bit of drudge work at the best of times.

Today I undercoated a couple of minis and started to assemble my next batch of Ashigaru while watching Gran Torino. It was a much better movie than I was expecting. :D

I didn't have much motivation to work on my minis after the rush to get prepared for last game, so instead I spent a few hours reading the Baneblade book. Motivation restored! I don't own any superheavies, but now I at least want to get my other leman russes assembled.

No painting this weekend, but is did do a bit of 1:1 scale modeling. Well, not me per se, I just paid someone to do the work.

Before and after shots.

Those are some very well-painted miniatures of "ordinary people". Very life-like flesh tones, hard to pull off.

Leila and Saori would make ace gardening exterior catalogue models. They make quite the happy picture :) Your garden has fair come on since I last saw it, too (which, to be fair, was a loooooong time ago).

Today I did a smidge of painting. I'm nearly finished Trueborn #3. Just the face to do now. I dunno about you lot, but I'm finding it rather hard to summon up any will to paint just now. 's just too frickin hot to do anything, and it's not like I'm averse to using the ol' aircon. I'm not even playing Batman (which, btw, is awesomesauce. For those of you who have played Arkham Asylum, how well done is the scene in the morgue when Bats is all drugged up on Scarecrow gas? I had to stop and give it a wee one-man burst of applause. Ver' well orchestrated.)

Tomorrow, I'm off to the mayor's office to ask his PA to book my speech contest onto his schedule.

No, really. That's part of my job
current (2019) hobby interests
eh, y'know. Stuff, and things

Wow. And then Corona happened. Just....crickets, all the way through to 2023...

@Spevna: Nice lawn, and good idea about the shubberies. By any chance the guys name was Rodger Shrubber?

Today I did some work on my Defiler. Tiny bit because my eyes began to roll back into my head and I think that's a sign to call quits.
