Wow! What a thread. Some great projects here. Looking very good mate. Well done :)
The battle of 5 armies is an inspiration.

Yeah, it's sort of a shame the resin stuff is so pricey - makes it a hard game to just "pick up".

The army boxes do seem kind of sparse for what you pay and the scale of the game. The minis look lovely though.

They've actually released some new army deals that give you a bit more bang for your buck - still not cheap by any means, but better than the army deals they had at launch.

And my present to myself for hitting a goal:

<Mass Effect joke> HOOOONNNK! </Mass Effect joke>

This is probably the unit that sold me on the Scourge more than any. Look at that adorable floating space squid! Have to touch up the eyes and the gold bits a tad.

Goal 2: 6mm Napoleonics
6/10 bases of line infantry
3/6 bases of heavy dragoons
3/3 bases of light dragoons
0/3 bases of hussars
4/4 artillery pieces
0/3 command bases

So that's coming along all right. Hopefully within a couple days I'll have my 1000-point DZC goal done to share as well.

Wow, the redcoats look good. I'm going have to crank out my own DZC models to match your scourge.

Goal 1: Dropzone Commander

1000 Points:
1 Desolator
4 Marauder Dropships
3 Hunter Gravtanks
3 Reaper AA Gravtanks
4 Intruder APCs
12 stands of infantry

In the bag, baby!

That's probably all I'll paint until more folks start playing, or I find I really want to switch up army composition. I have 3 more each of the gravtanks and AA tanks, and looking at the way people who play seem to organize their armies, I may want to switch out one of the units of infantry for more tanks. But we'll see!

I really love the look of that reaper - er... desolator.

Glorious! I'll do my best to assemble and get my drop ships and vehicles finished up.
