Hooray! Painted something. The base is only preliminary stuff until I get Morty finished, too, but I'm fairly happy with him for a couple of days work. He's just a minion, after all :)

Today I was able to add highlights, put some washes down, inks and other details on the CSM Lord model.

No painting last night. I felt chilly and went to bed earlier.

@M_i_J - That's a nice looking gribbly you've got there.

Yesterday I got most of a Universal/Bren Carrier built, applied a little more paint to some Zulus, began painting a British Lt.Col. for my AZW force (Brevet Lieutenant Colonel Henry Burmester Pulleine of the 1st Battalion, 24th Regiment of Foot to be precise) and read some comics on the internet.

Finally did some more work on terrain - got the base coat down on another hill this morning, should be able to finish it off tonight.
Feel free to call me Dave!

Did a bit of work on Mortenebra this evening. Mostly blocking in base colours to see if ideas work or not. The bulk of the evening was spent on her dress.

The yellow spot on the front is the pin from where her leg fell off. Again. :evil:

Here's the back:

The plan is for her armour to be mostly the same colour as her dress (skavenblight dinge, for those who care) and for her arms (both sets) and legs (all bajillion of em) to be my usual Cryx mucky brass colour. Her skin (what little there is of it) will also be my usual pale purplish green Cryx skin colour, and I'll throw in some necrotite green for contrast, which will hopefully do for the paint job what that rug did for The Dude's room.

In-laws (Mother and sister in-law) are breaking up a journey to a distant wedding and back by staying with us over 2 or 3 nights, which I can deal with, but it means a crowded apartment, hobby stuff is out and I can't do quite what I want to. Part of the deal I suppose, and they are nice people.
Have squeezed in a fair bit of Farcry 3 on the PS3 over the last week or so, not too trying for my abilities (casual rather than hardcore gamer). Would be even better if the protagonist, and his buddies whom I'm meant to rescue, weren't all unlikeable extreme-sports douchebag trust fund kids, but what can you do.
