@ Konrad: Aye men brother. Do we want land price bubbles, dry wells, polluted cities, and 2 hour commutes? Heck no. We love the rain. Keep your darn sunshine and warm weather! We don't need it.

Today I have lots of work, but i have I button down and finish up my DZC models!

We all live in The Yellow Gorkanaut!

Though to be honest, this project met some obstacles.
For some reason my wash seems to have rotted the hinges off the doors, perhaps because I tried using replenishing solution instead of thinner. Need to test that on some spare sprue before I try it again.
Then, I ripped the head right off its peg when I tried to remove it for a final spray of top coat. This resulted in a week-long attempt to rebuild a new peg using a toothpick and some putty. Probably should have just magnetized it.

Yet after much tribulation the Yellow Gorkanaut is table ready and my orks have a new home. Hooray!

What Ork vehicle is complete without a few Mekboy Upgradez? Kobb'lin stuff together is how all Ork gear is made. :)

@Konrad, Funny you should post that! As I mentioned a little while back, I fancy some Blue (meanie) Orks...Blorks? As a redo of my 5th edition army.
This one, which I found online, seems to work nicely... What do people reckon? Which colours would combine well for clothing? I'd love to hear some opinions on the scheme. If I remember correctly, ToD had some smurf inspired gobboes for fantasy which looked very nice...
Apologies for image size, btw.

That blue ork is cool. I reckon snowy base would be wicked.

This week I've been finishing off my BTD space dwarves. They are mostly done, but need a little bit more work.

I've also started work on some necrons. I picked up 5 metal RT Necrons which I've converted a little for use as a robot gang in JDMG.

No pics as yet, but will do by next week.

Alas, I've been playing video games all month without any time spent painting. On that note, Dragon Age: Inquisition is great.

I'm thinking I'll try to finish up those leman russes from last month before this weekend's joshin. I just needed to add a few highlights and paint the weapons, so I think I can at least manage to finish those.
With any luck, my girls should arrive before next month's game. The last update from Raging Heroes says they'll ship early next week.

today I failed completely to resist the pull of Black Friday, and bought Wolfenstein for my PC. IT WAS 66% OFF! 66%!! WHAT, AM I SUPPOSED TO NOT BUY IT?!?!?!

ahem... :?

I was also watching reign of fire with Sean (age 2), because he had been insisting on a "monster film". I tried Monsters Inc, but that just wasnt cutting the mustard. He kept insisting on a "scary monster film". So, I said, "how about a dragon", and he was all like "let's watch a dragon monster film". So, I put on reign on fire. I skipped through all the bits with Christian Bale looking grim (um, about 80% of the film) and we just watched the bits with the dragons flying around burninating/chomping things. There's a scene where some daredevil chaps skydive out a helicopter and whoosh through the air, attempting to catch a dragon in a set of bolo nets. The dragon, of course, eats em. Just after bloke number 1 is snapped up, Sean turns to me and sagely says

"Dad. You have to be careful with dragons. They're dangerous"

I can't help but feel quite proud of having instilled the fundamentals of dragon wrangling in the lad at such an early age. He'll go far, I reckon

@ MiJ: That's a sure sign of a prodigy. Maybe the second coming of St. George.
@ Lovejoy: I love the blue ork. Characterful. Well done.

Today I worked a tiny bit on my DzC models.
