Finally finished the BTD Space Dwarves I bought ages ago.

Reckon they'll make a decent Inquisimunda team.

And I painted up an old RT Necron for use in my JDMG robot gang.

@Spevna, gorgeous work as usual. With that paint job, the Black Tree Dwarves look far nicer than I imagined they could be judging from the pics on their site.
The necron looks horribly malevolent. It'll make a nasty combat droid.

Cheers.
The bloke who runs BTD really needs to take some decent pics of his miniatures as there are some real gems in there, but shoddy photos that are too small to look at do bugger all to sell them.

@Spevana- I knew those would tickle your fancy. Actually casting them is in the back of my mind. But impossible in a 3LDK full of kids and unsympathetic spouses. Maybe once I get this Digga project to the point I have a couple ready for the table I'll concentrate on Stunties.
And yours look great. Yeah, on the site they are pretty uninspiring, but you made them look good!
@Yellowstreak- Those are awesome! There must be some sort of "Away Team" game out there.

Great Work Spevna totally forgot that Necron version.

Received my Dust tactics Steel Battalion miniatures, (also got the Hephaestus miniature and the Justine and co maintenance crew boxes, and i picked up the Helldorado rulebook cheaply).

Here is a AT-43 Spetsnatz Kolossus vs Dust tactics steel guard comparison

@ Spevna: I love the stunties.

Having nothing on the paint schedule I enjoyed painting yellow on a BL biker I have.

Today at work I wandered around Wikipedia and learned all about Thrace, and romphaia, and the Classical Greek concept of polis. Historicals are indeed a deep rabbit hole! :D

Prepared for an interview tomorrow. Haven't been asked to bring anything other than myself, so I expect it may be an initial vetting meet up. I think there's a lot of competition, but it's worth a crack.
Hobby wise, tinkered with some hero and list ideas for Dredd. Then, non-hobby wise, put up the xmas tree whilst listening to some yuletide 'classics'. Quite fun and festive spirit is now engaged I feel. We were in two minds about it (the tree that is), given Louis' increasingly intrepid nature and the ability to find a toy in any object that has not been designed as one - sure enough, it took him about half an hour before the first bauble was plucked off...

...but, no further interference so far!

Nice. Don't forget Thracian peltasts.

I worked on my biker models, painting more yellow and some metallic.

Wanted to paint but spent the whole evening magnetizing the Hephaestus head and making the plate covers of the Steel battalion mechs movable.
