Will definitely aim to be at the 2015 Nagoya Hammer. Chaos Space Marines will definitely be ready by then and hope to give them a crack against some of you guys before then.

I do live in Nagoya, Meitou ku if anyone else is nearby.

Regarding the event on the 21st of this month, what is the best way to organise a game? I saw there's a direct thread so should I try and tee something up over there?

Cheers for the replies. Looking forward to meeting you
We usually organize games in the gaming and events section of this forum.

Some of us are playing a 40k game in the morning. We could work to fit you in. In the afternoon there are three of us looking for one more person to team up with.

Yep, that's your most direct route to getting a game.

Welcome aboard. You'll find plenty of gaming in and around Nagoya. I think challenge is not so much, "find someone to play" as "get your wife to let you go and play again this month" these days. I have a first ed. Space Hulk. Have not played that in a long while. Lots of non-GW games going on too. Judge Dredd has been popular recently, lots of Warmahordes, and dare I say....historicals? Pike, Prim, you guys are starting to show your age. :D
...and now his Head was full of nothing but Inchantments, Quarrels, Battles, Challenges, Wounds, Complaints, Amours, and abundance of Stuff and Impossibilities.....

Welcome, Mikball, to the place where dreams come true.. if you're free you should pop down to Zengo and see what's happening. As people have said, 40k is a staple at the moment, but no doubt fantasy will have its day in the sun again if 9th appears next year. Bolt Action is also pretty popular, and other Warlord rulesets like Black Powder, Pike and Shotte and Hail Caesar make appearances quite often - i'm playing some warhammer fantasy models with HC rules on the 21st! Warmahordes seems to have a following, though I know nothing about it. And I have been playing and cheerleading for the Judge Dredd Miniatures Game recently, maybe it will gain traction, maybe not.
The Kuwana games event is often middle of the month, and caters for non-wahammery stuff, and more boardgames are played there. Something between those two events for everyone.
Nice to have you aboard anyway!
