Wow, Jus and Badruck posting on the same day. It's been a long time gents, welcome back.

@M_i_J - I hope you feel better soon.

@Jus -Nice minis. The Bloodthirster is cool, but is the whole thing really only attached to the base by it's dainty little hoof?

Over the weekend I did some painting on my Planetfall minis and assembled some terrain. I also got all the remaining Raven Guard I need for NH basecoated in a nice dark grey.
On Sunday, my wife commented that she would like to play a game of something, so we spent an hour racing marine bikes around a circuit made from cities of death terrain. It was fun!

The Lords of Chaos demand no less. You didn't cut your thumb or anything while putting him together did you? Not to be superstitions or anything, but I'd worry if any actual human blood were spilled in the process of the creation of that monster.
And I spent a weekend in my pajamas blowing my nose....bleah....

Nice work Jus! And nice to hear from you!

I spend most of the weekend suffering from then recovering from the worst food poisoning I have ever experienced. Literally exploding from both ends in a manner that'd make Nurgle proud :(

Finished my very own secret project last night. Thought it best if I do one as they are flavour of the month it seems! Took about 20 odd hours to make (it is completely built from scratch ), and I reckon it doesn't look half bad.

Now just to paint the bloody thing.....

Started work on 18 velociraptors and a squad of guys in hazmat suits from Hasslefree for my club's show game this year (working title: T-Rex in the Park). Got a couple of dozen assorted mercenaries and big game hunters to follow.

@prim: hullo! Yes the blood thirster is only attached to the base via its one hoof but stays up surprisingly well with weight and balance. a most impressive kit and testament to GW engineering. I think it was worth it.

@konrad: hullo! That first base coat... Opened a vein for that haha (not)

@yellowstreak: hullo! Yeah I've been painting a lot recently. It's a 40k revival! Get well soon so we can game

I can confirm that Spev's secret project is a Thing Of Beauty (tm). Genuinely very nice work. Y'all'll appreciate it, come naghammer :D

@AGP T-rex in the park? sounds fun. As spev says, what rules ya using? Ooh, and it just occured to me that I may even be able to play em, since I'll be back this summer. Is Claymore on the cards again? If so, is there a date for it yet?
