What did you do today.
Re: What did you do today.
Tonight after work I dropped by a fantastic craft beer pub. I had a great beer, Lucky Bucket IPA. Great hoppy and piney taste. That and fantastic chicken Ahejo.
I'm too tired for hobby stuff tonight.

23 Craft Beerz, is probably my favorite. Great selection and good munchies, but a bit out of the way and a bit pricey. If you like IPA, just about everything Y Market makes is or tastes like an IPA, even the red ale.job wrote:Tonight after work I dropped by a fantastic craft beer pub. Exactly the place I went to. I've known about the plce since it opened but it was the first time I stuck my head in. You are right about the prices, but it was worth it in my opinion. Because it is on the way home for me, I'll be dropping in once and awhile.Konrad wrote:23 Craft Beerz, is probably my favorite. If 23 Craft Beerz was on my way home, home would be under a bridge nearby, because I'd spend all my money there.job wrote:Exactly the place I went to. Got in a good rainy day of sculpting. I retro-fitted my secret project into an even more destructive secret project for the Squat-Guard.
I even added a small back-up secret project on the side with some extra bitz I happened across while rooting through the bitz box.

They even wrote a song about it.
The top secret crew still look like a bunch of top secret armless department store mannequins, but I'll figure something out.

Re: What did you do today.
Over the weekend I did some more work on my Raven Guard, assembled some new minis for Malifaux, cleaned up some Reaper Bones minis, started work on some terrain and watched a few episodes of Agents of Shield. This morning, I blew my budget for a 40K Admech force on something else. The GW minis just didn't do it for me I'm afraid, and while I could have converted and chopped up the figures to get them more in line with how I imagine they should look, I decided that I couldn't be bothered. Instead I have invested in a new, secret project. Unlike the last one, no hints will be given, no clues left hidden in posts and no amount of cross-forum stalking will get me to spill the beans.

After a major vacation I got painting again and have nearly finished my orky big guns
These are mostly Kromlech models, with the single GW Mek Gun. I should probably paint up their crew as well.
@Primarch - a new secret project? I still haven't seen a demo game of your last secret project!

When I get some time in my gaming schedule I'll run you through a game. It might be a while though.Auxryn wrote:@Primarch - a new secret project? I still haven't seen a demo game of your last secret project!

Some good threads round here at the moment. @Prim and Job, cheers for the moving comments, it's been gruelling but rooms and their contents really getting into shape now. No interweb yet though, this comes via fat thumb typing on the smart phone.
Two folding tables (together they make a 6' by 4 space) and a new rug are on their way for my gaming room-cum-study, and all my hobby garbage fits comfortably into the cupboard. Delighted.
Louis was sent to pre-school today. Far younger than we would like, but Mr and Mrs Lovejoy have to work.
