Fairly productive holidays, I've painted Italian tankette and medium howitzer today.

Great work on the tank Spev! :) All that work - you have to bring it! :D

Had to work today :( but working for yourself brings with it a certain motivation and satisfaction. :)

Tonight I finished up some of the jungle terrain for Nagoya Hammer. All jungle foliage is now done. Dinosaur battle ground is done. Jungle rock outcroppings done. Tar pit is 90% done. Underground caves are nearing completion too - make sure you guys don't mech up your lists too much cause as I said before, there'll be no tank getting in them tunnels! :D ;)

I third or fourth (I lose count) the notion that Spevna should bring this scratch built beauty. Would be a shame not to!
Thank god for GW, by which I mean the holidays. Did a little basing on my wolves, hope to improve the look of the pods and army in general and add decals if possible over the next few days.
PC is distracting me though, (the old Dark Crusade and Vampire the Masquerade games).

Here's those touched up Pirates and the Reaper tech-chick. Not great paint jobs of the pirates, but better than the job I did on them in high school. The tech is a great big gal. 35 mm in those boots!

Hooray! Today I actually finished painting a mini. Cor, and blimey and all that. 4 more to go until I'm all done, and they're half coloured already. Also, I constructed my objective marker. I hope it's ok that it's on a largish base (basically a smidge smaller than a dreadnaught base) cos I ain't rebasing that sucker now. It's only going to languish in my opponent's backfield anyhow...

No problem.

Today I did some more work on some terrain for my secret project and got some paint on some US tanks. I also spent 3 hours outside gardening  and watched Battleship on TV, which wasn't half as awful as I was expecting. (Nowhere near as good as Pacific Rim though). :D

Snatched a bit of time later today after necessary chores to make the Space Wolf bases more respectable.
Oh, and watched Foxcatcher. Recommended, not a laugh a minute though, even with Steve Carroll...
Tomorrow I've agreed to look after Louis solo in order to let my wife and her sister have some shopping time. She deserves it as she doesn't get much opportunity...come to think of it though, nor do I.
So, I'll do something Tuesday perhaps, might check out that store that sells GW that Jus and Mikballs have mentioned before.
Louis knows one clearly understandable word now amongst the goo-goo-ga-flubble-babble baby speak ("good"), which I taught him (hoorah) and which he applies to everything except bad things, so I suppose he's got the general idea. Maybe I can teach him something else tomorrow.
