Nuns with hair buns?

Getting Hot in Japan, but i got some work done.

My Other Battlefleet gothic Helios ship is as good as done, only need to to do the weapon bays that is why put in some temporary ones.
Only need some touch ups here and there.

Got in a bit of sculpting after a week off. Just need to stick some arms and final details on a couple of Stunties and a couple more half done. Got a gun-crewman in the final stages and a few more about half done. There are a few Diggachicks in there done do various degrees. I'm sort of waiting for inspiration and I need some magnets to rig up a base for one of them before I polish them off. I have about a dozen figures in progress. I try to work just a smidge at a time on a figure to avoid squashing 2 hours of work with one thumb print. I'll do the eyes on one, and then the feet on another, touch up a bit of this and that on some others. It sort of makes it hard to see progress, but progress is slowly being made. Unfortunately, it will be too hot and humid to do much sculpting pretty soon. I'll have to switch to painting and terrain-ifying.

Nice work on the ships and nuns, chaps. Yesterday I did a smidge of everything - a bit of skyrim, a bit of daredevil, and a bit of deathjack hand. Just did the shading, highlights to follow today, I hope, although uni is ramping up - I discovers yesterday that the book I need to read and write a report on is 158 pages long, and in Japanese . I knew about the language, but the size of it is a bit of an issue. I'm gonna have to call in the cavalry on this one (ie my wife...)

Anyway, I fear hobby time may be severely limited for the next few weeks...

And a base... Just basic blocking in of potential colours here. Not sure what I'm going to do in the end. It'll kinda depend on how the jack ends up. I'm a bit concerned his carapace will look too different to the rest of him. I may need to just bite the bullet and redo the carapace, but I'm loath to do so cos it got a really nice sheen to it that I'm not sure I can replicate.

You can really feel the almost-old school vibe. Being in the 'old minis look goofy' camp, I won't be pledging, but for those of you who like that kind of thing, you'd better get in there quick before the Cease and Desist letters start flying.
