Spent an hour on the beastmen, oops, kin. Slowly getting more interesting.
I've asked a terrain company that's attending Claymore to bring a nice little mdf castle for me, which I'll collect and pay for in Edinburgh. Sieges!

@MiJ, I do like that wispy fey thing. Very effective, the way the colours blend in the cloudy billows.
Paul Daniels metal budgie similarly effective.

@Dekana, congrats on job and apartment, sounds like good things are happening!

@job- Yeah, Hector is the only one out of the whole collection of blood-thirsty, bragging, ruthless pirates that make up the heros of the Illiad that possesses a streak of humanity. You do have a hard time rooting for the Greeks. The scenes with his wife are quite touching.
@Denaka- congrats on the job and all. Bright lights, big city! Don't hesitate to shout out if you need some advice on visas and guarantors and things. I'm sure many of us have been there and done that in one form or another.

Today I worked a bit on pinning and assembling the arms and the beginning of a couple legs on the Blood Slaughterer.

Been pretty busy doing concept sketches for the Kickstarter, but I have managed to get a bit of painting done.

Managed another squad of beakies, plus their captain.
Got a third unit painted up for SAGA.

@All- we need to do a RT day. Anyone besides TOD have a real copy? Dig up whatever owld-skewl figs you can, and we do a big old-fashioned multi-player mash up. Heck, I'd even GM it! (I can't tell you how long it has been since I've used the term, "GM". ) Put a MacGuffin in the middle of the board, maybe some sort of random encounter chart and go!

First of all great minis everyone. Down with a summer cold. Spent the day watching X Files and a first look at Firefly. Not seen it before, it passed me buy in 2002 as I didn't have a TV during Uni days. Not with a signal anyway, only for PS1.

Not bad.
I was thinking about going back to 5 days a week instead of 6 so I could have more time with family as well as to relax and paint. Life is too short. Have a great weekend everyone. Hope you enjoyed Mad Max.
