What did you do today.
Re: What did you do today.
I wasted far too much time on the PC today, but I did get some work done on my BA minis, in fact, they just need their bases painting and some varnish and they are done. I was also able to put a wash down on some terrain I'm working on. It came out a bit darker than I had hoped, but I'll give it a drybrush at some stage to lighten it all up a bit.

Re: What did you do today.
some progress on Colette. Things I noticed:
1) painting irises is hard. I can see why we dont usually do that...
2) damn but my proper camera takes a better picture than my iphone. Shows up every blemish, and then some

@M_i_J - Digital photography is a harsh critic, but Colette still looks good so far.
@AGP - Nice looking infinity minis. Those battlesuits look very cool.

Re: What did you do today.
Got in a teeny smidge of painting this weekend. Have not been real inspired recently and am in no hurry. It's a hobby after all.
Had an unusual Monday in that I had the day off. Strange coincidence of sports and test days converging that left me free. So I split for town early, had a long leisurely latte and did some homework. Went to an early matinee of Ant Man. (a lot of fun) Wandered around the toy shops in Osu and actually bought a box of Skitarri (sp?) for like 3000-odd yen at Yellow Submarine. That should keep me in Grim-dark conversion projects for the next couple of years. (Muties!) Had about the best miso katsu in the world for lunch and then parked in Tsurumai park for the afternoon with a YonaYona and a really good book. Lovely, lovely day.

I`m not (hobby)dead yet!
After months of why the hell I keep buying this stuff I barely use, the muse returned! Mind you it was after going to Spain and being reminded that there is stuff other than GW at the outrageous Japanese prices.
Well that and having a second bag allowance for a total of 46 kilos! (Plus got into a KS for more MDF terrain...)
So I got myself the reboxed battletech game and a few odds and ends, so now I'm the happy owner of 40+ mechs and even more shocking, I already have more than half painted!!!!!!!!!111111oneone
So without further ado the latests aditions. Sword of Light mechs.

I went to Kamimaezu today and popped into Yellow Submarine. They still have some Skitarii going chea.... less expensive. They also have a pack of Sigmar Sigmarhammerers at a discount too. The only thing I bought today was a dice bag. They have some cool dice bags in stock at the back-right corner, with a bunch of WW2 and fantasy logos on them.
But more importantly...
There is now a Burger King in Kamimaezu, just down the road from Joshin!

Yeah, it was a bit of an impulse buy. Very rarely happens.......Primarch wrote:I went to Kamimaezu today and popped into Yellow Submarine. They still have some Skitarii going chea.... less expensive.
@Migel- Battletech figs! Fun! I never got into it much, but back in the day I had buddies who played it all the time. I remember the hex-paper battle boards. Very old-school!

My work for this month a ruined building.
Perfect for fighting some of the urban conflicts of WW2.

Or hunting down troublesome Vault-dwellers in a post apocalyptic city.

Or scavenging for spare parts for your army of egyptian space robots.

I also finished off some reinforcements for my 10th SS Panzer Division force.

And a Paladin for a D&D game.

Re: What did you do today.
Good show folks - nice to see a bunch of painted minis/terrain. Also, Burger King in kamimaezu - ooooh.
Past couple of days have been more Colette for me. Not so much to do now - just her gloves (black? Not black? Undecided...) the ribbony bits (very light pink) and her necklace (no idea.) also the red bits are shaded but not highlighted, and were left in a hurry this evening so there may be blotches needing attending to still. Anyway: Colette:

[edit]Also her tights need doing and her thighs got bolloxed up while I was doing the red bits, so now need to fix em, too. [\edit]
