What did you do today.
Re: What did you do today.
@MiJ, that's one of your best so far, of those I've seen. Fantastic!

Today I put the finishig touches on 12 Lancastrian Billmen, just need to take a picture to upload. I also started on the assembly of a Saga warband, put the first coat down on a squad for This Is Not A Test and added a couple of layers to some AZW cavalry.

Re: What did you do today.
Thanks for the kind words, all.
The past few days I haven't done any painting, partly because my in-laws were visiting, and partly because I have a cunning plan for a super-secret project which is currently consuming my brain. As with all cunning plans, I must first construct the necessary bits and bobs, and that is what I am currently engaged with. More details will probly be forthcoming, but for now I'm keeping schtum

Re: What did you do today.
I seem to have less time these days, school is busy and my son is harder work at the moment. When I do have an hour or two after Louis is in bed I've been playing Skyrim or watching my Colditz boxset (recommended before by me I think, great 1970s tv show). It's easier to slump on a sofa and use a controller than organise brushes, glue and paints and get cracking.
I have however, assembled a teddy for Malifaux, and made a start on some Yorkist bowmen. More to follow hopefully...
I have a semi-secret lotr project idea too, but so far it's only gone as far as marking what to cut some foam card. When all the bits are cut I'll try some assembly and we'll see.

Lovely, lovey fall day yesterday, so naturally I spent it squirreled away in a bunka center rolling dice. Went down to Tsu for the first time in ages and had a great day playing Stange Aeons in the morning with Itakura san. If you ever get a chance to see his S.A minis do. He has a set of angry torch wielding peasants that are like Van Gogh beautiful. Not often a mini makes you think of Impressionism. He also has some purples in there that would get the Pike Purple Stamp of Approval.
The afternoon we played a fun little zombie board game called "Last NIght on Earth". Very cinematic. It was hard to choose which zombie game to play. We had Zombie board games stacked to the ceiling. Seems that over the years, "Zombie" has evolved from a sub-genre of horror/sci-fi into a distinct genre of it's own. Braiiiiins....

Re: What did you do today.
I haven't made a whole lot of progress on much this week as I've been busy watching season 3 of Agents of Shield, but tonight I was able to put some paint on some post-apocalyptic peace keepers and some AZW auxiliary cavalry. I still need to post pics od stuff I did earlier in the month as well.

Re: What did you do today.
No hobby..I have a stinking cold recently (as does Louis, who is also a bit feverish) but despite headaches, sneezes, etc. resisted temptation to take a day off. Why? I dunno..Japan has conditioned me I suppose.. roll on weekend though.
Working my way through audio books of Lord of the Rings and Susan Cooper's Dark is Rising sequence. Good stuff at anytime, but just the ticket when you're under the weather and need some escapism.

I've been had a bit of a cold myself this week. bleah.... Mostly over it now. I took the day off to see my son's school chorus contest yesterday. He was playing the piano for his class. Didn't win, but I thought they were pretty good. Did get in a bit of paining . Got another Digga-chick mostly done. Only have to finish off her clothes and some other equally small details.

Sorry you guys are under the weather, and fingers crossed I can stay cold-free.
Hectic week, so not much hobby-ing. I have pretty much sorted out my paint schedule for the next six months, so now I just have to get cracking little by little.
I did finally finish scratch building my own Eldar harlequin troupe leader/ Solitaire I started at the beginning of the year.
