Dis some painting yesterday but haven't made pictures yet, will add them later. Bought forbidden stars and the mini's look nice several can be used in BFG and Epic.
Re: What did you do today.
Came across these surfing through the rumors at Dakkadakka. This is so over the top I just don't have the words. You need these, right Yellowstreak? Buy them and I'll paint them for you. Seriously!

Yes those are awesome, finally an inconspicuous coven limousine!
Re: What did you do today.
Some overdue pictures of some BA infantry I painted up earlier this month.

The ruined house is also a product of this month.

Re: What did you do today.
Finally, got a decent paint job on the latest Digga chick. I have only a general idea when I start to sculpt these, I was thinking this one would turn out as a bad-ass, mob leader type when I had it half-way sculpted. Turned out much more an Escher juve gone native in the end. Head ended up a bit bulbous and the arms a bit badly formed, but job's a good un`.

Re: What did you do today.
@Primarch, you really know how to crank them out..They look decent, too.
@Konrad, sculpting is really coming on, the legs especially look great. Disturbing marriage of cheesecake smut, and scabbing?..yummy.
Some big news I've been keeping to myself until now. Went into town today to squire my wife to a natal clinic. Her first trimester is almost over, as she's now 11 weeks pregnant with our second child, and s/he is already about 38mm. Due date mid May.
We were hoping for a second child sooner rather than later, so we're delighted. Hobby stuff is bound to slow even more than the current snails pace, but I'll not be quitting anything!

Thanks, not having any kids makes things easier I guess.Lovejoy wrote:@Primarch, you really know how to crank them out..They look decent, too.
I've been spending so much time reading up on the Anglo Zulu war that I read that as Nah-tal rather than Nay-tal. Whoops. Currently painting a unit of Natal Native Horse doesn't help any.Lovejoy wrote:Went into town today to squire my wife to a natal clinic.

Re: What did you do today.
A quick look a Wikipedia proves what I suspected, that Natal and natal are not un-related.
The Natal coast was 'discovered' by Vasco de Gama on Christmas Day, or in Portugese 'Natal' the birth day of Christ. Interesting, huh?
Anyways, congratulations to Mr. And Mrs. Lovejoy.

Re: What did you do today.
congrats lovejoy
Two so close together in age should be fun. Eventually
also, I second the praise folks' are heaping upon Konrad's diggachick. While the head could be improved (not by me, mind you) the back view is very good (without meaning to be smutty. I mean that from a technical point of view.)
These past few evenings I have been plugging away on the Super Secret Project (SSP), and have just about completed phase 1: basic construction. Phase 2: green stuffing, will commence tomorrow, unless it gets sidelined by Side Project: ebay that tat. I've spent a good few hours this evening photographing, editing and fiddling with photos of various minis wot I reckon I could live without. Some rare stuff, if folks care to look
However, the whole shebang was somewhat stymmied by the sheer frickin annoyance that is listing stuff on ebay. Gawds above that thing takes ages. I'm listing about a dozen minis, and eeeeeeevery one needs aaaaaaaall the details. Yuck
Anyway, onwards and upwards, and hopefully cash will be made

@Lovejoy: Congrats to your wife and you on the second pregnancy.
@ Konrad: nicely done, particularly on the legs and midriff. She is finely toned.
