And a new Yamato 2199 ship came out, ran out of 32 mm bases so it is on the original base

Yamato Vs. Star Wars Vs. Battlefleet Gothic? Sounds like a great idea.

Those ships are lookin mighty purdy there, J-R

I've been plugging away at my scenery. The end is finally in sight - all I need to do now is a bit of weathering then add transfers. Or possibly transfers then weathering. Anyway - should be done in a day or so. Well. I say "done", but that's inky the crates. Still got a buttload of other buildings to deal with. My hope is to have the crates and the 4ground stuff ready for the 27th. On which note: Prim, I'm not currently working on the HoR proofreading, as I figured playable tables for Dredd/infinity were more important at this juncture. I will actually read the rules to a playable level before the 27th, though, of course. Apologies for the delay.

While I couldn't give two hoots about Dredd terrain (maybe a hoot and a half), don't worry about the proof-reading. You've obviously got a fair bit on your plate at the moment, so take it easy and have a crack at it as and when you feel like it.

I haven't been all that active on the hobby front myself, I have a pile of minis screaming for paint and no desire to sit down and do it.

Ive been beavering away on a few different things the last few weeks.

Got a warband painted up for Frostgrave. Lovely, simple set of rules where the wizard is the main focus of your group. Can't wait to give it a try.

Got the first 5 ( of many!!) celts painted for my whfb chaos army. I'll bbe using them as thugs.

I've been keen to play Ronin, and I found some Asian influenced orks and goblins in the lead pile. I'm going to be using the bandit list to represent them, or possibly the Mongol list.

All that fantasy painting has left me with a sci fi itch that needs scratching! Nothing will cure that quite like a bit of Dredd :) I converted an East Meg Judge officer into a psychic. I used one of the Celt heads to give him a kind of Rasputinish look.

Also been trying my hand at colored illustration for the book too :)

Thats an impressive amount of output. The Celts look very striking with the pale skin and bright war paint.

Cheers man.

The idea I had was for different regiments from different tribes. These guys are the men of the glade. The next lot will be the men of the mountains. Need to get those pale buggers done first though !

almost there with the crates. Just need to weather them and add a couple of orange lines on doors and the tops of the container thingies. Still, theyre looking like I kinda imagined/hoped theyd look (only theyre too clean just now. Need some muckying up...)

Image

ps. 3 out of 4 of those crates contain a horrible face-eating bioengineered creature from your darkest nightmares. Trust MiJ shipping and logistics to get the job done, and not eat your face. :D
sorry - couldnt resist.
