I got to slap some paint on two WZ Mortificators that slooooowly are getting close to being painted and scored a nice trade for old IG miniatures. Anybody interested in some old school ratlings?

M.

BTW and that counts as breaking my New Year's commitment that was paint something before buying more stuff.

@konrad - having tried to sculpt myself, my hat is off to you for producing a mini that nice. Good legs (and i mean that in a technical sense) nice decorations (bangles and whatnot) and hair. My only crits at this point would be that the face needs work (which I'm sure youre aware of, although that said, it's nae bad and should paint up just fine) and it may just be me, but her torso seems just a twitch too long, although maybe she just has short legs :)

*edit* oh, and get that fuzzy crap off her! The camera is your friend, this time around!

So, is Forbidden Stars meant to be a replacement for Battlefleet Gothic? It seems like you get a lot of ships in the box.

Finished the first week of work after the break and passed out after my first glass of wine. No movies, books or minis. What!
Forget about yesterday, don't worry about tomorrow because all that matters is today.

Naw, not wrong on that torso. I seem to be screwing that up on most of them. Have not managed to get faces yet. The solution may be Statuesque Miniatures..... I am pretty happy with the expression on this one, but it's still chunky, not very symetrical, and noses tend to be sort of blobbed on with a prayer that it won't look too monstrous. But I could spend another week futzing with it and at a certain point you just have to say good nuff and move on.
Yeah, that fuzz! I caught that too after the pic. Surprise! And that's after I washed her off.
...and now his Head was full of nothing but Inchantments, Quarrels, Battles, Challenges, Wounds, Complaints, Amours, and abundance of Stuff and Impossibilities.....

@ Konrad: I love the gun on that chick.

Did a tiny bit of work on the Helbrute weapon options before going to bed.

This evening I converted a Contemptor Dreadnought into a Contemptor-Mortis Dreadnought.

I finally put the finishing touches on some Tau. The riptide was finished except for the Decals for some time. I painted Shadowsun and her 3 bodyguards here over New Years.
Still need to paint all their weapons.

Behind them, you can get a sneak peak of the zombies I got from Reaper.
