Got that digga painted up. Not real happy with the colors, but time to call it goodnuff' and move on to then next one. Did a bit of puttying on some other projects.

This weekend was taken up with fatherly duties on Saturday, as I looked after my son while my wife went to the salon. Had a couple of hours as my son napped to play a little Warhammer Quest on the iPad, it's jolly entertaining. Today I had to make a trip into town to buy an expensive adaptor for my ageing laptop, got a haircut, bought a few sale clothes, and found some very small fake gemstone type...things..of the kind teenage girls I suspect like to make cheap looking handicraft jewellery out of, whilst they listen to that Justin Beavers. The idea is to use said not-gems as piles of glittering diamonds, sapphires, rubies and emeralds on objective markers, a nice idea i saw somewhere that I'm nicking. Did also manage to undercoat the Wars of the Roses minis. Not much hobby then, but progress is progress.

Today I managed to paint half way two of the assassins. Very colorful

If the eversor ends up to my expectations prepare to face it next naghammer.

I worked on my Helbrute adding paint and a wash to the options and a couple of decals to the shoulder pads.

Yesterday I got the last of the washes down on my Word Bearers and started highlighting/touching up their armour. I got nine of them done, with another 29 to do. Once that is out of the way, I'll need to start on the bases.

While refreshing my paint supplies I bought a good old Panzer III for my BA Germans. Also finished up the metal basecoat on my rocket artillery, so they're ready for gray.

Unfortunately you know that feeling that comes from seeing the photo and finding the spot you missed while tiding up before varnishing the whole thing? Cannot unsee the shoulderpad now.
