Well, today (and yesterday evening) I actually put brush to mini. As may be surmised from my sig, I've done bugger all painting this year, mostly due to a complete lack of mojo. Dying Light didnt help, either, but regardless, the SSP has stalled and I just can't be bothered anymore.
So I did what any sensible painter would do in such mojo-less situations. I painted a goblin. Well, I've started him, anyway. Progress so far...

I think I'll call 'im Batfink. I'm hoping to use him for Frostgrave (yes, yes, I know it's all humies, but a wizard is a wizard, and this lad's got a staff wi a knob on the end, and that makes him a wizard in my book. His litlle gobbo-ey mates can be thugs and barbarians and whatnot. Still working out details, but it should all be obvious once theyre painted...)
Not entirely sure what to make of the mini, truth be told. Bits are very nice, other bits (nose, I'm looking at you...) seem to be either miscast or scrappily sculpted. I suspect the former. Anyway, It's a quick and cheery paint job, so it doesnt matter too much. Hopefully finish tomorrow
p.s. I have also been working on my uni reports for my final course. This evening I actually wrote the line, "Overall, this play illustrates Albee’s disgust at the materialism inherent in the contemporary interpretation of the American Dream."
Quality pretentious waffle, that is. *nods sagely* Two a penny, five for tuppence, and that's cuttin me own froat...
