I managed to find a club locally who play Frostgrave and Batman among other things like Bolt Action etc.
In other news visited Games Workshop briefly and rather wish I hadn't. No Lotr minis and full of that Sigmar stuff. Still there seemed to be a small army of teenagers painting them so that hasn't changed. A few Dads in there playing but no vets from what I could see. Pretty much all the gaming groups I've inquired about here locally have jumped ship from everything GW related.
Did manage to find an independent hobby store that doubles as a gaming room out back also. RPGS, card games and wargames. That's the good news.

In other news, picked up Harley Quinn and her gang today. A little steep but slightly less than the rrp at 26 quid.
Also rather lovely, Frostgrave Knight and Templar pack for 6 pounds, 2 minis. Bargain, thank you Osprey.

I spent today at Yellowstreak's place playing TNT and BA. My TNT warband took a kicking, though they emerged largely unscathed, while my German Panzergrenadiers (masquerading as Blitzkrieg era troops), tore a hole right through the French front line in a true recreation of history.

With my wrist still being a bit sore, I decided not to paint this evening. Instead I did some more work on my D-Day table, getting the last board section one more layer away from being assembled. After that I need to start detailing it, painting it and all the other fun things that come with making really big bits of scenery. I also started putting together some barbed wire pieces. All in all not a bad way to spend an evening.
