What did you do today.
Re: What did you do today.
@ J-R: I love the flying badass Dutchman!
I've been putting a bit of work in assembling some transports for BA and painting up 5 officers and drummers for the regimental command.

Would I be correct in assuming that your missus wasn't home at the time?

No, no. She was cool (more or less) with it. She was the one who took delivery of the boxes.

Applying for new jobs, playing No Man's Sky, finished the first GoT book. Watching a lot of good TV, just finished Preacher, enjoyed the new Bridget Jones film. Life is pretty good all in all. Enjoying the break before work starts up again someday. Might be painting my Harley Quinn minis soon.
Forget about yesterday, don't worry about tomorrow because all that matters is today.

Re: What did you do today.
My Peter Pig duders arrived today, very nice models! I got them all glued to their bases, and will spend probably the next day or so putting gap filler on the bases before priming them up.

@prim - always, you are the baseline for hobby extremism. It's a boon to have you so I can show the missus pics like that and say "see, dear - it could be worse"
@Ash - sounds areet to me. Good luck with harley. The figs for the batman game are really nice. Enjoy the painting
As for me, while it may seem I've been a bit quiet on the hobby front, I've actually been busy most nights with it. Lots of MDF scenery has been assembled (those 4ground buildings are nice, but damn do they take a long time to build), and I'm currently working on my Cryx. The Kraken has been built and fully magnetized for transportation (those tentacles were a right arse, but to be fair that was the magnets. The actual glueing/assembly was very smooth and painless) and I'm currently working on some satyxis and soul hunters. lotsa lotsa drilling and pinning...

@Spev and M_i_J - The boxes contain KR cases. Quite a lot of them, enough to store most of my armies.

Getting ready for Operation Overlord, here is Lt Col Vandervoort of the 82nd Airbourne who broke his leg landing on DDay and was wheeled around in a handcart (as played by John Wayne in the 'Longest Day').
