At least you still have time. I ran out ages ago. :D

It seems like my every waking moment is filled with prep for Overlord. I have about a dozen different bits of terrain that I am bouncing between. Paint A, apply wash to B, drybrush C, highlight D, check if A is dry yet, undercoat E and F. It's never ending. :?

I dunno how you cope without an airbrush, prim. respec for the effort goin' in :)

@ashmie - bravo, sir. Keep at it. Paint them however you like, but do paint em.

As for me, today I have bin mosly paintin':
rivets. Lots and lots of unending bloody rivets. And also chimney looking things.

Some legs:

and aforementioned rivety goodness:

and a question: Do you think I should paint the rim/edge of the back part of the hull gold (ie brown for now), the same as the rim on the front bit of the hull?

Hi y'all from Texas! Been a busy week of work, but it's Saturday and I'm heading to a local games store this arvo to check it out.
I'm trying to resist the lure of buying some genestealer cult stuff for kill team (don't think I have the will to paint a full 40k force). We'll see how long the resistance lasts....the yen is not bad right now....

Went to the creepy doll store and picked up a few new subtly-but-historically-importantly different shades of brown, green-brown, and brown-green, and got started on my first squad of paratroopers, mostly to test how the camo looks:

Good enough for 15mm, I reckon! (At tabletop distance, his trousers will hopefully look less like bell-bottoms too.)

They do have a great selection of paint at the creepy doll store, don't they.
Got in a good afternoon of puttying and puttering this weekend. Scratch the previous post about googles being easier to make than eyes. Tried using some little Gunpla rivet thingies for the lenses and could not get them to work. Cut those off and will try again.

Wrapped up the first third of my Antisocial Germans this evening - as I sort of suspected, the relative fiddliness of the camo smocks slowed me down a bit, and it'll probably be a potential chokepoint for getting stuck on painting, but there are few enough left that I'm confident I can get done in a timely manner. If the weather holds, I'll prime the next batch tonight and get painting tomorrow.

tell me, is the store creepy and contains dolls, or is the store pretty normal, but contains creepy dolls? or is it both?

Anyhoo, this evening* I painted a whole leg worth of fiddly bits. At this rate I'm going to be painting bronze for the next bloody week
