Today I finished (I think it's finished, anyway) my first cruiser for my UCM fleet. Fairly happy with the scheme, less happy with how long it took. Hopefully later models will go faster. I've also been working a bit on some Tieflings. Pics to follow when progress warrants them. Anyway, here's a spaceship:

I very much like the design of these, btw. Astounding detail, that almost paints itself (well, aheh, it does when you oil wash it, anyway :oops: )

*edit* ps, yes I know metal doesnt oxidise in space. It's just that straight chrome looks really boring. Well, I think it does, anyway, unless it's all shiny-mecha-nmm-chrome. But I'm not about to go there for these minis...
current (2019) hobby interests
eh, y'know. Stuff, and things

Wow. And then Corona happened. Just....crickets, all the way through to 2023...

Nice! And I'd say that's a blazingly fast paint job in mij-land. :D I think the gray will work better on the table than my more or less straight black does.

You could always start over with an Episode I Naboo fighter-inspired paint scheme!

@MIJ that's a nice ship, There is no oxigen in space but a lot of space dust that impacts on the hull if you don't have the shields up constantly, you could go for the pitted look.

@Ashmie pictures i want proof! ;)

My second PHR ECM frigate.

I think I've got the dazzle scheme working a bit better here than the first one - more focus on lines and less on wedges, and a bit less black. (Like the first, this is just the hull - the gribblies will be mostly metallic, with blue glowies on the hex things on the navigation fins.)

Also one of my inspirations! I didn't have the guts to go for fine black and white checkerboarding, though, heh.

MiJ that is your best work to date man. I think you've found your forte. Ships.
Great work everyone, it's all looking super neat and tidy on the painting front.
