I spend an... "enjoyable" evening* assembling a witch, some angry frogs, and some very angry trees for Malifaux.

*For certain values of "enjoyable" which are not, actually, particularly enjoyable. Very fiddly, these Wyrd plastics!

I'm liking that Bad Juju very much. Hadn't seen the new plastics for that crew before. Very nice, they are.

They are! I particularly like Zoraida herself, although she was 16 (!) pieces altogether, and that's not counting the 2 little voodoo dolls I couldn't find space for on her belt. Not babby's first 28mm kit, that's for certain.

For gaming, I'm pleased that this modest outlay seems to put me in a solid starting place for 35-40 SS games (leaving one each of the angry trees and angry frogs at home, and giving Zoraida and Juju some useful upgrades, gives me 40 very nicely), which should - knock on wood - be a good place to start learning the game and think about expanding.

Those are looking great ToD. I've had the Collodi boxed set for a year and a bit now. I need to assemble it really..

ToD, that malifaux crew looks great! The voodoo doll with the scissors is cute. :D

Looks like Nagoya's Malifaux players are expanding in 2017. I'm putting together another Outcasts crew - the Von Schill and the Friekorps.

Speaking of, I finished up the (admittedly quite small and very easy to paint) first member of my crew last night:

That doesn't look very dangerous! I'm sure it's nothing to worry about. Just ignore it.

aaaw. Lookit 'im. Just the right size for one of Colette's mechabudgies to snatch up for a snack :P

Last night I finished a Bones gorgon. Not my favourite material to paint*, but I reckon she looks ok in the end.

*although I will grant you that the ability to just bend the bow out of the way when painting the tail was a definite plus point.

Feel free! I'm sure nothing would happen if the little doll got hurt or damaged in any way.
