@mij, I'm not sure about the historical accuracy of horned helmets and sexy nurses :being pedantic for humorous effect emoticon: but it's a fantastic paint job as usual.

I finished up my venerable dreadnought, and now I have a 2-dread crew to wreck face. The gold didn't photograph so well (it's a good deal richer and better shaded than it appears in the pictures) but on the whole he came out pretty well I reckon.

Also I am bad at drilling barrels.

Just over a week to finish up the hellblasters and paint up the predator.

@TOD, barrels don't look that bad. It's always a bit tricky on those two part models where the center of the barrel is right where the halves fit together. If the bond is weak, they will sproing apart when drilling. A good idea is to make a starter hole with a pointy clay tool or dental tool to get your drill bit centered before drilling away.

Sort of getting back in the groove, I wrapped up the yellow on the hellblaster squad on the workbench today, which just leaves metallics and unit markings basically, which always goes pretty quick.

I return to active mode with some hobby pics. Went on vacations to Spain and black suited commandos wearing sunglasses forced me to enter a shop and buy stuff. I swear I didn't want to!

I also managed to play my first game of Warzone Resurrection. Only 3 years and 2 rule revisions since I got my KS stuff. I tried to get a game of Warpath/Deadzone too but apparently there were no takers tho they had a tournament this weekend, just in time for me to return to Japan.

And the baddies from the Dark Legion, fruit of some nights of insomnia after the trip.

Or Warpath...

Finished up these big plasma boys tonight, but it's not a night for either sealing them or priming my next batch of minis, so things may be quiet for a couple days 'til the typhoon blows over.

I missed some very-annoying mold lines, which is frustrating, but eh.

Over the past couple of days, I have assembled some figures for a Bolt Action army, along with some vehicles to accompany them. I also put together a small house, cleaned up my hobby room a bit and did some painting on some colonial era Brits. All in all, a good weekend's work. :D

Today's WIP

In the beginning God created beast and man so that both might live in friendship and share dominion over a world of peace. But in the fullness of time evil men betrayed God's trust and in disobedience to His holy word waged bloody wars, not only against their own kind, but against the apes, whom they reduced to slavery. Then God in his wrath sent the world a saviour, miraculously born of two apes who descended on Earth from Earth's own future and man was afraid for both parent apes possessed the power of speech"
