That fits the style of Imperial cruisers really well!

Last night I assembled a unit of 5 marines and did a little more work on the swarm of objective markers on my painting table.

having assembled lots of resin and metal miniatures from obscure companies, the pertinent engine is not that bad

@ JR: Nice work.

It has been awhile. I've spent the last week or so painting my UCM fleet. Working on the last batch of cruisers. I'll try to finish the fleet before returning to Napoleonics, but I may run out of Asimov's Foundation series on audiobook first.

I finished up some models recently, here are the pictures.
An Angel for my Lion Rampant force.

I also 'painted' some invisible minis from Reaper.

And an Oni.

I painted these last month, but only got them varnished and photographed earlier this month. 42 ancient war galleys.

They are 1/2400 scale according to the manufacturer. The bases are 20mm by 40mm or 25mm by 50mm for the bigger ships.

Nice one Prim! Loving the Lion (Dragon?) Rampant stuff! My own Rampant force will probably be ready after the Battle of Fulford and NagHammer, but they are looking forward to meeting your army on the field.

weird. That's the second time this week I thought I had posted something but it isn't here. I'm defintely doing something, as the pics are there on imgur from yesterday. Is it me, or is it Naghammer? I wonder...

Anyway: Mega-dread update. After some chat, I've decided* to go with a copper/bronze faceplate eyeslit thingy, and not a Bob Ross landscape as suggested by j-r. Maybe some other time?

*and when I say "decided", I mean, "that's what I'll do", not "that's what I did". It's still the standard base-coat mucky metal colour for now.
