Nice work ToD! I like the colour, a nice change from the brown tide.
So many games, so little time....

Thanks! I wouldn't want to paint, like, a hundred of them, but that's the joy of skirmish games.

Some recent things from me.

Some Sengoku period Japanese and a couple of rice barns.

Some crusaders.

And a group shot of all 40.

And some Gnolls.

The one on the left is called Gallagher, the one on the right is called Edmonds.
The gnolls were an experiment with a new, faster way of painting. After basecoating them from top to bottom in dark brown, I just drybrushed all the other colours on quickly and roughly and then washed them liberally in brown wash. Aside from drying time and bases, they took about 30 minutes for the pair. The aren't going to win any prizes, but for scruffy, bestial types, I figure they will do the job.

@Primarch: Nice stuff! As always, your sheer volume of output is amazing. Good work!

I got started in on my squad of Veteran Intercessors today - taking my time a bit, as edge highlighting plus yellow are fiddly as always and I don't want to get burnt out, and also because my backlog is precariously low. :D I may prime up the goblins tonight though, just so I have have something not-space-marine to jump to when needed.

@ Koji: Welcome back.

I feel bad because I have finally put aside Skyrim on the Switch and made some hobby progress. I’ve been inspired by Dan Abnett’s Titanicus, the Gundrian regiments, the 7th Semetar, and the Gaunt series to do an IG Patrol. That and there was a box of IG I purchased on sale last summer. So I’ve assembled them with the command box (which has a lot of good options) and added a sentinel for some support (and because I can’t get enough of walkers). Yesterday I beat the rain to priming them and last night I began adding paint. I’ll post again when finished.

I got to the "curse at transfers" stage on the first two out of five veteran intercessors. :? A goblin break is definitely going to be called for before starting the other three, although I was pleased to find that I've refined my yellow method to where it's quite painless.

I also started seriously thinking about my NagoyaHammer army.
