That's a sweet dragon! Can you bust it out in Frostgrave or similar?
Re: What did you do today.
Thanks. Yes, I'll be trying to use it in games, though I'm not sure about Frostgrave as I've only played it once. I'll probably use it for (appropriately enough) Dragon Rampant.Jye Nicolson wrote: ↑Sat May 16, 2020 12:41 amThat's a sweet dragon! Can you bust it out in Frostgrave or similar?

Nice! I should watch, "The Three Musketeers" again. Swash those buckles!
And here's what's on (off, finally!) the bench.
The biggest boxes turned out a bit too big, but overall not so bad. They will block LOS and do the job. sort of a painting experiment with the blue shadows. If I put a little effort in, I could probably get some better barrels made and press-mold a set of those, too.

And all but the final, final touches on the Diggadon Rider to go But all in all, jobs a good un.

And more spikey bitz! Not sure how I'm going to proceed with the head. Gladiator sort of thing. Chaos warrior sort of full helm thing. Thinking sort of a chain-mail coif/veil kind of thing.

...and now his Head was full of nothing but Inchantments, Quarrels, Battles, Challenges, Wounds, Complaints, Amours, and abundance of Stuff and Impossibilities.....

@Ashdevon - Very colourful.
@Konrad - Great work on the scatter terrain and the digga-chick. For the next one, my vote is for an open helm with a chainmail face covering. Perfect for helping prevent the spread of a virus and it looks bad-ass.

Oooh! Nice one! I am thinking something along those lines. I've had this in my reference file for a few years, sort of in the same vein.

And finally got the Digga-dactyl rider (ver.3) done. Took the better part of the day to paint it and the bits of the saddle I re-did. Pretty happy with it aside from a few spots.

And a few more shots in my Yaktribe gallery.

Painted up that mine entrance, too!

This is what I've been working on through the break.
Put a ton of time into it, but had a ton of time so...
It's Scally (the daemon prince???) from BigChildCreatives.

@Grant - oooh, suits you sir! Very nice work. Part of me kinda wants to suggest smoothing out the transition to the darkest shadow tone, but actually the more I look at it, the more I like the strong break between the shadows and base flesh tone. It's a fantastic mini, either way. Me likey

@Konrad - Nice work on the digga-chick.
@Grantholomeu - That is a great looking mini, but why does he have a ship's wheel strapped to his back?

@me_in_japan I kind of had the same feeling haha. It grew on me over time.
@Primarch Spare tire? The full name of the mini is "Scally the helmsmaster" or something like that.
Trolls must be pretty susceptible to road-rage, so it's there for when the first wheel gets torn out of the socket.
