They're very clever that way. Do they still support the loadout the box gives you and no other, or something somehow more annoying?

I think they're box locked but because that particular box has *so many toys* and because you can take 5, 7 or 10, that's a ridiculous amount of customisation and means an "optimal" 10 man (to go in a Rhino with two characters) is hauling around a bunch of random stuff. The Other Dave wrote: ↑Wed Jun 04, 2025 12:53 pmThey're very clever that way. Yaksha for Malifaux. I always underestimate how long chumpy guys will take, but they often end up being some of my favorites in the end.

Those are extremely cool!

I've been putting these off for a long time - I bought one as soon as the Sisters came out and the second in the Sisters/Drukhari box that introduced Lelith and the Palatine.
They were a pain so I guess I was right to do so! But they're done now and I will probably play them this weekend.

I'm still on the "orks for Epic" lend-lease train
so here's some more punchy fight boyz:

Aside from their "American football-style" helmets I do dig these models a lot, and how they sort of rhyme with the AoS orc aesthetics. Personally while the hammers are very cool I think it's a shame there's only one bionic arm double punch guy in the whole squad, I'd want a bunch of them.

Re: What did you do today.
The Kill Teams are much more keen to distinguish individual models than an ordinary 40K squad, so you get a lot of one of cool guys (and their dog).
Sometimes that detail vanishes back into the 40K unit so your brain doesn't cook trying to read a datasheet with the full complexity of a skirmish team but sometimes you keep a special weapons or wargear model (and their dog).

Been a minute since I posted here, but I am back at my hobby desk. Last week I managed to assemble some Space Wolf terminators, some Skaven and a handful of medieval crusaders. I also started slinging paint on a Dreadnought and some D&D figures. No pics yet, but it feels good to be engaging with my pile of potential again.

Did a bit more work on some SW Terminators, plus spent far too much time looking at kitbashing possibilities in 30K.

Re: What did you do today.
After finishing my pile of shame I started on an Airfix diorama for Waterloo and have ordered some new minis. Moonstone witches and Warlord Games Generals Coach for Pike and Shotte.
Finished the pile of miniatures from 2013!
