I've just realised why Badruck's posts are so unintelligible. He actually types in Ork then runs it through Googletrans to get the English that he posts...

Hi, I'm another Dave that now lives in Japan. I am Navy and stationed in Yokosuka. I am still learning alot about the area. I play 40k (orks and blood angels), some fantasy (Wood elves and Dwarves) and I mess with a game here and there so I am willing to learn any game as long as it's fun. My schedual is random at best as my Ship can go underway at any time. I look forward to getting my game on when ever the chance happens.

Howdy there, fellow Dave :)

welcome to Nagoyahammer :) While Yokosuka may be a bit far away for us to be able to help you out with games (its in Kanagawa, according to my wife's dictionary. Is that right?), I hope you'll feel free to post as much as you like on the site. I'm particularly into the painting and modelling side of the hobby, so I'd love to see any pics you have of your minis. If you have any questions or general chat about gaming or rulesy stuff or whatever, just fire away and post it in the relevant section of the forums. We have a mix of gamers here, both experienced and newbs, so whatever level youre at, Im sure someone can help you out.

Good to have you on the site :)

- MiJ

p.s. try not to be put off by the level of waffle on the site - most of the regulars all live fairly nearby and actually hang out and game together, so we know each other fairly well. This leads to a somewhat disorganised feel to some conversations, as there are running jokes and personality-related things going on sometimes. Don't pay it any mind, ne :) We're all always happy to chat about whatever - gaming related or otherwise.

Welcome to NagoyaHammer Dave (the new one, not the old ones, though they are all welcome too).

As M_i_J says, feel free to post away and if you can get some games organised then that's great.
