Sitting by a nice warm fire, drinking only the finest of Chracian wine, the warriors of Prince Llatheron's court enjoy a hard earned respite from war. The prince himself reclines on a large comfortable bed with his beautiful princess, the scars of many fierce battles worn as marks of honour upon his fair skin. In the springtime he will begin mustering his host for war again, training his warriors in new ways to defeat their vile cousins from the North, the beasts and humans of the Wast and the lizards that walk from the South. In the meantime, he will take his lesiure amidst his private estate and drink in the beauty of his homeland to remind himself why he fights.

After all, only a complete idiot begins a military campaign in winter....
