Welcome to the board Aldroze. I hope we can help you find some regular games and if not, you are always welcome over here in Nagoya.

Hello Gentlemen,

I've just arrived with my family in Japan and I'm looking for 40K player in the Tokyo area. I should be able to play as soon as I will have received my armies (SMC and DE) that are currently in the ship coming from France.

Hope to cross your path arround a 40K table one day ;-)

(Belatedly) Welcome Aldroze, pop421, and anyone else (especially from Tokyo) who wandered in while I wasn't looking.

I live in Tokyo (or rather, just out west of it).

As has been said, a lot of the gaming in Tokyo is in the GW stores, but there are a few other places to play - Yellow Sub in Akihabara is a popular venue (for other games & RPGs & things too) at times.

There are a couple of clubs, but they generally lack a decent web presence.

One "major" group is the "Greater Kanto Area Wargamers", but they don't have a site. I'm pretty sure that this: http://games.groups.yahoo.com/group/wargamers-japan/ is their yahoo group though.

There's a group that meets somewhere near Nerima every month; I can't find their details, but if you're in that area PM me and I'll search harder.

http://westtokyowargamers.blogspot.com/ is a historical gaming club, if you're interested in that; I think quite a few folk in that also play GW stuff.

You could try a web search for JIGG.

And, of course, you can drop me a PM if you want a game at some point.

Hi Sascha
Welcome to NagoyaHammer.
It seems like there are more and more players from Tokyo signing up, so feel free to PM them or post in the Tokyo section of the game finder to organise some games.

Glad to have you aboard,
P.

As Prim says, there seem to be more and more people based in Toyko on these forums, which is great news. We'd love to see you down here in Nagoya in May, and please feel free to post anywhere you like, on any subject.

see you on the forums :)

*edit* a big thank you for translating Badruck's post from Ringtail. We need more folks who can read and write in both English and Japanese (and it's doubly impressive that neither is your native language. Im so ashamed to be British right now... )
