My mini-rulebook started falling to pieces the day I got it.
I know one other guy who had the same situation. He emailed BF about it and he got a new one delivered to his house.

Anyway, if it is a matter of getting hold of the rules, BF offers dossiers and references for free online. There is no need to buy additional rulebooks to reference rules, etc. Also each book doesn't offer any penultimate list. List offered via pdfs are often very competitive. Actually some of the most competitive lists are available online for free (Soviet Foward Detachment, 11th Armored lists, 2nd infantry division, etc.). Moreover, the books are not particularly high priced. I think the GW books are over $30 and the rulebooks are between $50 and $100.

just like the always do 40k Radio talked me back in to giving GW a second chance. I just will have to buy my armies a unit at a time rather than an army at a time.

This new expansion for FB looks like heaps of fun... I must get in on it... I was still on the fence about buying FW model as there are still technically GW models but now that I am back into GW games and still a fan of Warmahoreds... and I like I said my trool bloods are in the mail...
